Alonzo Mourning and Mike Doleac will share center duties for the Heat.

Shaquille O'Neal sits out Game 3 vs. Wizards

By Associated Press, 5/12/2005 19:49

<WIRE_BODY>WASHINGTON (AP) Shaquille O'Neal's bruised thigh kept him out of the Miami Heat's playoff game against the Washington Wizards on Thursday night.

O'Neal was scratched about 20 minutes before tipoff of Game 3. The Heat lead the series 2-0. O'Neal missed the last two games of the regular season with the injury, and his movement was limited in the first-round series against New Jersey and in the first two games against the Wizards.

maybe Heat will hit better than 50% from the line now

Wiz frontcourt already thin, it might not be that big of a difference

I got 10 dimes on was, Miami will probably win the first quarter and maybe the first half but washington shuould win at the end, the more the game goes on the more shaq'q absence will hurt them.

Went OTB for 5 minutes or so, then opened back at 3 and closed at 1.5

1.5 point line move in an NBA game in 25 minutes, insane!

without shaq washington should be favored by a couple in this situation, down 2-0 miami could easily lay down.

I am pretty sure Miami had a winning record without Shaq this year, regardless though, don't think anyone will lay down in a play off game to let a team back into a series

I doubt they kept it up ...had to be a mistake....but, Miami has been playing very well with Shaq playing a lesser role anyway....Washington will lay it all on the line tonight in this must game...obviously
