Left and right,like two children sitting in a sandbox fighting over the sand while a third child is emptying it.This has been going on for decades no matter which party is in control.As i understand it the premise is "by the people,for the people".If we let it continue we get what we deserve.

You said it all there. And it's in the interests of the corporate elite political parties (republican and democrat) to keep the people divided into "liberal" and "conservative" camps rather than stressing what we all have in common as Americans.

I have always thought that the polarization of America on all levels will be its down fall.It leaves no room for true debate or the exchange of ideas.It also throws all reason and common sense out the window.

it`s like a ponzi scheme....keeps everyone from wondering why there`s no 3rd moderate party that would inevitably represent the majority of americans.....

but,it`s pretty much an impossibility....even the media is complicit......they jumped on nader as soon as he announced his candidacy....they couldn`t bear having him take votes away from kerry and their liberal philosophy...

not saying that nader is a good choice....and not taking a shot at the dems.....the same thing happened to the republicans when pat buchanan ran....

just saying that this country has about as much chance of seeing a legit 3rd party candidate as we have of proving barry bonds took thg(or is it tgh...lol).....

you know he did....and you know we should have that 3rd option....but,alas,we never will..
