SERVICES, TOUTS, PEOPLE THAT BET 30 UNITS A GAME AND THE PEOPLE THAT FOLLOW THEM

first of all i have nothing against services or touts.....my motto "to each his own"

if you want to follow touts......fine no problem....

how a person can actually be successfull doing this is beyond me though......one tout says this and another says that......sifting through it all can be tiresome and confusing.......

the inside "information" on games released by touts is always stale, useless or after the fact.....

so called syndicate plays, if genuine are useless because the line will never be the same number that was bet.......

a touts job is to sell picks........not pick winners......

there are some guys that post in this forum that bust ass, study the stats, angles everthing....these are the ones that dont SCREAM HEY LOOK AT ME I'M 8-0...I WON A 100 UNITS........

they do their research and post the picks that they think are the best.... they dont fudge on the on the won/loss record, they dont bet "fictional" amounts of money....they are serious about what they do.......

if you are actually betting money on game...(something most touts dont do).....and dont have the time or resources to form your own selections.....following a service is an option.....your still going to lose money in the long run, most gamblers do.....the ones that make money gambling...dont follow touts.....

these people that say they bet so-and-so at such-and-such number for such-and-such money are just full of Sh*t........

if a person says i bet xxxamount of money......dont pay any attention.....its garbage......

check the posting history of the posters that post thier picks........you will find out which ones are serious and which ones arent...

imo...your better off checking the handicapping forum, some great methods are listing there....

well put.most of these services are master advertisers.its very hard to win consistently. no matter how good you are.the best way to follow a capper is to see his results over time and play all his plays . and over time build your bankroll.

I posted that 3 years ago and while it still stands somewhat I do see an opportunity for posters to learn the basics enough to at least enjoy their gambling instead of seeing lives wasted through too high an expectation. This was my point with Iceman who I think has plenty to offer on here if his style was tempered a little.

The biggest problem on a Gambling Forum for inherent losers is posters making the game sound easy and basically telling Punters what they want to hear. While a more realistic approach may not be as exciting, several posters on the same theme may make the penny drop for some. :drink:
