try and eliminate the emotion man.. . Make it one long marathon & daily grind. Especially if you are a former athlete . Do not let the competitive juices get the best of ya ...the bottom line is to produce a profit....

Good luck...be patient...
HAPPY HOLIDAYS

This is excellent advice. I think too many people hop around from hot capper to hot capper, and that can be dangerous. Or when people load up on a certain play just because a tout is hyping it up big time.

I'll be the first to admit that I get way too invested in the games I play. I have a hard time letting go of losses, especially if they are bad beats. I think I do a pretty good job of not chasing and sticking to good money management, but I get way too worked up over losses. And I tend to be a perfectionist, so if I win 9 out of 10 games I'm probably going to focus on the game I lost, not the 9 I won.

funny how you said "letting go of losses" . I was thinking the same things during a stretch of betting back in september . I ve done a better job in oct /nov/dec of letting go of losses & always looking to the future win or lose...

You know, it sucks, but i feel like right now in college football that no matter which side I pick, it's gonna lose. Which side is the right side in tomorrow night's Hawaii bowl between Hawaiii and Notre Dame? I feel like ND -2 is the right side, but what the fuck do I know?

He got very lucky on that one. Probably should have lost it. Close game down the stretch, but Portland scores the last 4 points in the final 30 seconds to cover by 1 point. I guess a win is a win, but if that's his "GOY" his capping skills suck.

You buy too many points. If you don't think a team can cover 2.5 then just take the other side. No sense in risking that much

In Sunday's service play thread I said Budin was chasing and would be good for 1 more loss and he got it today. When he loses 2 in a row, he'll chase the shit out of -3 or less favorites until he either hits or loses 3 or 4 in a row. Then if he goes on a little losing streak, he'll come back with an underdog play alot of times.

I can just read it now:

Budin here, comin at you with a 50 dime special release on the Notre Dame/Hawaii game from my "Boise Disaster Bailout Crew." You know who they are. They have only a limited amount of College bowl releases (especially after I shit the bed to go 0-4). There's only one thing to do and you know what it is..

GET IT AND BET MY FRIENDS.:lol::lol:
