Indiana at CHICAGO (-8)
By Sports Gambling Hotline, Featured Handicapper With the Bulls making a late season charge at the playoffs, we will lay the wood with Chicago as they take on the banged-up Pacers Saturday afternoon.

Chicago has won 3 straight, and 6 of their last 7, and they have also covered in their last pair, and 6 of their last 8 overall, while the Pacers do come into this one off a pair of wins and covers, but Indiana is still hurting with Murphy, and Daniels dinged up.

Series numbers show the Bulls with wins and covers in 3 of the last 5 meetings, and the Bulls are also a profitable 20-15 against the spread in their 35 home games this season.

Chicago will hit the road for their next pair, including a stop at Conseco on Tuesday night, so expect the Bulls to bring it strong in this Saturday matinee home date.

Play on the Bulls.

4? CHICAGO

New York at CHARLOTTE (-6')
By Karl Garrett, Featured Handicapper 4th straight comp play winner from the G-Man last night on Arizona-Louisville way OVER the posted total.

Tonight in the NBA, lay the points with Charlotte as they take on the New York Knicks.

New York stopped their 6-game slide with an impressive home win over New Orleans last night, while Charlotte was also busy recording a win, as the Bobcats won outright at Philadelphia to keep their name in the playoff chase.

Charlotte is back home for this one, and they do own a decent 22-15 spread mark on their own hardwood, but better still is their 9-4 spread mark the last 13 times they have faced the Knickerbockers, and the Bobcats just did pick up a 114-105 road outright win at Madison Square Garden back on March 7th.

Larry Brown would love to stick it to his former employer once again, and the G-Man thinks he will do just that.

Play on the Bobcats minus the points.

3? CHARLOTTE

Phoenix at UTAH (-8)
By Bobby Maxwell, Featured Handicapper Off to the pro hardwood for today's FREE winner as we go with the Jazz at home, taking on the Suns in a Western Conference showdown.

The home team has won five of the last six in this series and we don’t expect things to change today as we go ahead and lay the big chalk with the Jazz. Utah is tough to beat on the home court and they will win this one by 15 at least.

Remember the Suns play absolutely no defense and they showed that on Thursday in Portland, losing 129-109 as a 6 ½-point underdog. They let the Blazers shoot 50-of-83 from the floor (60.2 percent) and hit 50 percent of their long-distance shots. The Suns are letting teams score 114 points a game over the last five, and hit at a 48.6 percent clip.

Utah is able to clamp down the defense at home, giving up just 94.6 points per game and this team is starting to get healthy and look pretty solid. Carlos Boozer is back in the lineup, Deron Williams is still one of the top three point guards in the Western Conference and Ronnie Brewer is a do-everything guy that the Jazz desperately need.

The Jazz clobbered Houston back on Tuesday, 99-86, cashing as a 5 ½-point favorite at home. They are on ATS runs of 58-28-2 as a home favorite and 6-2 ATS when they are a home chalk of 5 to 10 ½ points. Utah has also gotten the cash in five of the last six against the Suns, including back in November when the Jazz got a 109-97 win as two-point favorites.

Lay the chalk and play the Jazz against the defenseless Suns in this one.

3? UTAH

Memphis at PORTLAND (-13)
By Jeff Benton, Featured Handicapper
For Saturday’s Bonus Play, we’ll head to the NBA and lay the big chalk with the Blazers against Memphis.

Portland has won five straight meetings against the Grizzlies, with three of those being double-digit romps. The Blazers have cashed in four of the five victories, the only exception coming on Feb. 18 in Portland when they were in a major look-ahead situation and barely escaped 94-90 as an 11½-point chalk.

Tonight, there is no look-ahead for the Blazers. Yes, they have a critical showdown with Utah on deck, but that game isn’t until Tuesday. And given Portland’s inconsistent play of late – the team has split its last 10 games – you know coach Nate McMillan would love to get his squad going as the season comes down to the home stretch. And nothing builds confidence quite like a blowout win in front of your own fans over an inferior team.

And make no mistake: Memphis is beyond inferior. Despite Friday's win over the god-awful Kings, the Grizzlies have been a disaster all season long and they enter this game having lost five of their last six, nine of 11 and 17 of the last 20. And seven of Memphis’ last eight defeats have come by double digits!

Portland is on ATS runs of 5-1 overall, 9-4 when playing on one day of rest, 8-4 when laying nine points or more and 4-0 against teams with a losing record. At the same time, Memphis is in pointspread slumps of 6-21 against the Northwest Division, 3-10 when playing on Saturday and 10-16 when catching eight points or more. The Blazers, who are coming off a 20-point home win over the Suns, will match or exceed that margin of victory tonight. Give the points with confidence.

40 DIMER - VILLANOVA WILDCATS....10 DIMERS - CONNECTICUT, & MIAMI HEAT
40 DIMER - VILLANOVA WILDCATS

I told you on Thursday that I thought the wrong team was favored in the Villanova-Duke game, and you saw the result of that one. I also feel the wrong team is favored in this game, as Pittsburgh should definitely have been sent packing by Xavier in the last round, but somehow wiggled off the upset hook.

That won't be the case tonight, as a case can be made that the Wildcats are playing the hottest basketball of the teams remaining in the Big Dance, and after watching them hammer both UCLA, and Duke, you can see that Jay Wright has a very strong, very deep squad that is peaking at the right time.

Obviously these teams are no strangers to one another, playing in the Big East Conference, and the lone meeting this season produced a 'Nova 67-57 home win as the 3 1/2-point home dog. Overall, the Wildcats have caprtured 4 of the last 7 series meetings.

Tough, tough game, but with Pittsburgh having to go to the well now in ALL 3 of their tourney games, I have to side with the surging Wildcats to take this one.

10 DIMER - CONNECTICUT HUSKIES

Can't argue at all with what Mike Anderson, and Missouri have done through 3 rounds of this Big Dance, but I have to believe the end of the road is coming after this 40 minute session.

UConn did not play all that well in their last game against Purdue, and they still won by 12 as the 7-point favorite!

This Hasheem Thabeet is a difference maker, and I don't see anyone on Mizzou that is going to disturb the big man in the paint in this game.

Sure, the points look tempting considering the way the Tigers looked against Memphis, but I do not feel Missouri has another effort like that left in their tank.

UConn to head to Detroit next weekend with the win, and cover.

10 DIMER - MIAMI HEAT

Miami has played 6 of their last 7 on the road, and not surprisingly they are just 2-5 straight up their last 7 games. The Heat should welcome this home game against the slumping Bucks, as Milwaukee is off another loss last night, their 4th in a row both straight up, and against the spread.

Overall, Milwaukee is just 1-9 against the spread their last 10 games, and they are just 1-3 both straight up, and against the spread the last 4 series meetings.

Miami in need of a "get-back-on-track" blowout, and they get it here.

Lay the points.
Today's Complimentary Selection

4th straight comp play winner from the G-Man last night on Arizona-Louisville way OVER the posted total.

Tonight in the NBA, lay the points with Charlotte as they take on the New York Knicks.

(501) INDIANA PACERS
(502) CHICAGO BULLS
Take "(502) CHICAGO BULLS"

Indiana is struggling, on a 3-5 SU, 2-6 ATS run. They run into a focused, motivated Chicago team. The Bulls coasted to a 106-87 triumph Thursday at the United Center over Miami by dominating the second half. The victory -- the sixth in seven games for the Bulls moved the team into seventh place in the Eastern Conference by percentage points over the Pistons. The Bulls also hold the first tiebreaker over the Pistons with a 2-1 edge in the season series. Kirk Hinrich has been filling in great for rookie Derrick Rose, but Rose is now back, playing some in that game. The Bulls now have the third-best record (12-8) in the Eastern Conference since the All-Star break, trailing only the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers and second-seeded Orlando Magic. Play the Bulls.

(503) DETROIT PISTONS
(504) WASHINGTON WIZARDS
Take "(504) WASHINGTON WIZARDS"

The Pistons are beat up and don't seem to be playing with much energy right now. Obviously, the Wizards are awful but they figure to be the more enthused team here with Agent Zero finally getting into action. I'd rather side with the team that figures to be more interested, so I'm leaning to Washington to score the win at home over the Pistons.

Scott Rickenbach's Free Pick (Opinion Only): Charlotte Bobcats (-) vs New York @ 7:05 PM ET -

The Knicks pulled off a shocking win last night as they had a huge third quarter against New Orleans and then hung on for the victory. Let's not forget that New York had previously lost six straight games. Also, the Knicks are facing a Charlotte team that just won outright on the road in Philly last night! The Bobcats, with their play in recent weeks, have proven that head coach Larry Brown now has the right pieces in place. Charlotte is playing their best basketball of the season and that continues here. The Knicks now take their show on the road and that means the long-term struggles quickly return as last night's New York win will prove to just be a 'blip on the screen'. This Knicks team is very poor defensively and here they're matched up with one of the best defenses in the league. Consider a small play on Charlotte minus the points on Saturday night.

Vegas Experts Tip Of The Day

Villanova at Pittsburgh

Villanova sure looks like the better team right now, so why not grab the points? They won the regular season meeting by 10 points, have outscore the opposition by over 60 in their last five halves of play and Pitt is 0-3 ATS in the NCAA Tournament. We've already seen that the Panthers don't like to guard around the perimeter, so good look guarding all those Villanova scorers around the perimeter.

Play on: Villanova

Indiana (+8 -110)

Indiana will be taking this matchup very serious trailing Chicago and Detroit by 4 1/2 games with 10 left to play for the final playoff spot in the East.

The Pacers are playing their best defense of the season. They've held their past four foes to an average of 90 points per game.

Indiana has covered six of its past nine away matchups. The Pacers are rested, having been idle since Wednesday.

Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro has shortened his rotation down to primarily seven players. Fatigue might hurt the Bulls, especially with this early start time. This is Chicago's fourth game in six days.

Derrick Rose and John Salmons are not at 100 percent for the Bulls.

Indiana has the higher scoring average, averages more rebounds and commits fewer turnovers than Chicago.
