4 Unit Play. #712 . Take Memphis Grizzlies +1.5 over the Phoenix Suns (Friday @ 8pm est). The Suns come off a big win over the Hornets on the road getting revenge on the small dog tag. But, Phoenix is the type of team that can lay down on the road too such as their loss to the Kings on the road, loss to Portland, Utah and Dallas on the highway. The Suns beat this team at Memphis earlier this year by a score of 89-101 so Memphis has a good deal of revenge and there is a reason why the line is slowly moving in favor of Memphis despite over 70% on Phoenix here. Memphis has covered 6 straight contests and comes off a tough 3 point loss to the Magic in a game where they nearly won ouright despite being a 14.5 dog tag and lost to Mempphis by just 3 points at home as well as a 7 point dog. Look for Memphis to continue to a strong showing as once again, they have covered 7 in a row and Phoenix is 1-4 ATS over their last 5 games following an ATS cover. Phoenix has beat this team twice already this year so it is very difficult to beat a team trice in a year, and although Memphis is not going to the playoffs, this is as close to a playoff atmosphere they might get this season, they have certainly not laid down and continue to build with their young guys for next season. Memphis for the Outright for this evening.

4 Unit Play. Take Over 9.5 between Toronto Bluejays @ Cleveland Indians (Friday @ 4:05pm). Another afternoon game for us on the docket. Let's take the Over between Toronto @ Cleveland today as two young pitchers step up the mound. The Indians have started the year 0-3 and are struggling a bit but they will look to get back on track in front of their home crowd today after having a tough series against the Rangers on the highway. The Indians have the lineup to put up some runs, as they did in their last contest but fell short to the Rangers despite 20 runs in total being scored in that game. Richmond is a bit old to be a rookie for the Bluejays, but he is 29 and makes his start today as he is from British Columbia. He played in the World Baseball Classic but had an on and off spring and I expect his nerves to get the best of him today as he faces a frustrated and opportunistic Indians squad this afternoon. The Indians throw out Scott Lewis who has given up 15 runs in 21 hits and the Bluejays can surprise you with the number of runs they put up as well. This team has been solid with putting runners in scoring position and getting the necessary timely hits. The Bluejays put up 24 runs in the series against the Tigers and can put up runs against an inconsistent pitcher this spring while the Indians come off getting swept and certainly have a lineup that can put up runs against Richmond as well.

Good luck,

Indian Cowboy.

Umberto, I posted this earlier here, but it disappeared...

RATING: TRIPLE DIME PLAY

I hope the scoreboard operator got a good night's sleep because he will be busy tonight. Both teams are out of the playoffs so this game means nothing and will be played just like a pick up game with both teams going up and down the floor. Defense takes the night off. Shaq spent yesterday site seeing in Memphis this team is just playing out the string. Friday night Home crowd and Memphis will give them a fun high scoring game for showing up. I have this game totaling 232-236. This is my NBA BLOWOUT Game of the Month.

</dd><dd>Analysis: The Florida Marlins are 11-2 in their last 13 home games and should not be an underdog in this situation. Anibal Sanchez will toe the rubber for Florida, and he is 2-1 lifetime vs. New York with a 3.63 ERA. Meanwhile, New York's John Maine is coming off shoulder surgery and struggled last season with a 10-8 mark and 4.18 ERA. I'll take the home team here as a live dog, so bet Florida as my Single Dime NL Underdog Play O' the Day.</dd></dl>

</dd><dd>Analysis: The New York Knicks have covered three of the last four meetings but will be facing an Orlando Magic team looking to take out some frustations on them tonight on national television. The Magic are a game behind the Celtics for the #2 seed in the Eastern Conference and need to finish strong and get some help in order to overtake them. The Knicks showed no heart in a 27-point home loss to the Pistons on Wednesday and have essentially thrown in the towel on the season with nothing left to play for but a better lottery pick. I expect Orlando to crush them in a similar performance here. Bet the Magic as my Double Dime NBA Big Chalk Play O' the Week.</dd></dl>
