L'ville -2.5---3 units
L'ville will hand Pitt their first loss of the year. The Ville will be sold out as it always is and this is the biggest Big East game of the early season. L'ville just has to keep Samuels out of foul trouble and they will be OK. Another game I feel that will come down to the final few minutes and Pitino has his Cardinals playing excellent basketball. Look for the Cards to hand Pitt their first loss of the season.
Wake +2---2 units[/B]
Last 5 times these two have square up four have gone to overtime and the 5th was a 67-65 final in regulation. I see the same thing happening in this game so I will gladly take the two points. Clemson will be jumping and place will be going nuts , but the fact of the matter is when both teams are settled in this game will come down to the final few minutes and Wake has the clear advantage from the FT line. FT's as I have already said in multiple threads will be the X-Factor in this game. Give me the 2 points and the better FT shooting team any day.
Michigan -3---2 units
Another rivalry big in conference game. Will take the home team in this one as Ohio State has been exposed the past few games. Get physical with them and they crumble. Manny Harris will have a huge game and the key to this game will be if Michigan can keep Ohio St off the glass. Controlling the pace of the game will also be key, but that shouldn't be hard as I see this one in the 60's. Wolverines get up for this game year in and year out and always play Ohio St tough. Even the past few years when Ohio St has been loaded with talent , and Michigan has had half the talent they always beat Ohio St or at least play them tight.
Wisc Milwaukee +2.5---2 units
Wisc Mil a very similar team to Wisc GB and we saw what happened last night to Clev St when they traveled to GB. Cleveland State has been a big disappointment this year in the Horizon and they IMO have no shot at winning the Horizon. They are outclassed by Butler and as preseason Favorites to win the Horizon it just isn't going to happen. Bullock and Jackson are on one night and off another night. MIL lives and dies by the 3 and hopefully they will live by it Saturday as they will need to do so to beat Cleveland State.
This is all for now. Have to do some serious looking into Colorado, USC, Providence, Penn State and Texas AM. Was hoping for a bit of a bigger number in the Texas AM game but I feel the public will move the line up a little and by game time I can probably get Texas AM plus at least one or two more points. College Station one of the toughest places in the Big 12 to come out of with a win and Oklahoma will be a heavy public play tomorrow but I don't see them coming out of their with a win. They rely to heavily on Griffin and Texas AM has the bodies to bang with him.
