serious question II, does any politician actually give you "hope"?

I just can't relate to this thinking, but maybe somebody can educate me.

Politics is a lot like medicine. It is considered as common knowledge among both doctors and the lay public that doctors take an oath stating "Never do Harm."

Historically, the best presidents tend to be the ones who "Never do Harm." Calvin Coolidge is a good example.

Stay away from any politician (right or left) who promises "to do good," ie selling "hope" on the macro. They will almost always end up making things much, much worse.

Since Barack Obama is a do-gooder on a scale we have yet to witness in the history of America -- and therefore will do the GREATEST harm EVER mandating 'hope' -- I'm voting for what's-his-name...Mr. GOP Sock Puppet standing over there in the corner.

Protect me from evil -- then get the hell out of my way!

Let freedom ring!
