I am new to this forum but the last couple years I have made some good money betting on the nhl playoff series posts, so I will posts my plays on here and see how I do.

Devils/Canes
Carolina got hot at the end of the season ripping off 9 straight, but showed signs of cooling off after dropping their last two games including a 5-1 thumping at the hands of the Sabres(at that time already out of playoff contention) and a loss to the Devils. Cam Ward has been hot in stretches but I don't think the Devils will need many goals to beat the Canes, considering they have the greatest goaltender of all time in net who always steps up in playoff time. Give me Brodeur in a 7 games series against a mediocre offense any time.
Play: Devils (Risking 2.7units to win 2.0)

Flyers/Pens
I know everyone on this board ans everywhere else I look loves the Pens in this series but I believe people are really underestimating the Flyers. Last years Eastern Conference Finals are completley irrelevant because the Flyers were without their top two defenseman Timonen and Coburn, and they have added some seroius offense with Gagne and Giroux, not to mention the season Jeff Carter is having. Timonen is the most indispensable Flyer, logging over 20 minutes a game and anchoring their potent power play. The Flyers have 3 deep lines with major scoring threats. The Pens have been playing great lately but I do not think they are the same team as least year. The addition of Guerin replaces the loss of Hossa and Malone? I don't think so. Biron is a question mark but showed in last years playoffs he can step it up, and I believe he will. This will be a grind it out series that goes 6 or 7 games, and their is great value in the Flyers +140
Play: Flyers (risking 2 units to win 2.8)

Will post more plays tomorrow, best of luck to everyone.

I meant I have made some good money off of betting playoff series prices, not posts, if that has confused anyone.

The Flyers did not start out the series like I had hoped at all, but hopefully they stop taking stupid penalties and play like I know they can with all of their talent.

Blackhawks/Flames
I believe this series will be very close, going 6 or 7 games. The Blackhawks finished the season strong and have an enormous amount of young talent. However, this is the first time this core group of players has made the playoffs, and I have never been to high on Khabibulin. The Flames were built to make a playoff run this year. They signed Jokinen at the deadline and have leaders in Iginla and Kiprusoff who have a Stanley Cup Finals appearance on their resume. The Flames are my pick to suprise people in these playoffs, I would not be suprised if they made a long run this year.
Play: Flames (risking 2 units to win 2.8)

Sharks/Ducks
In the last month, the Sharks have been on the downfall battling injuries and the Ducks have been on the rise playing their best hockey so far this year. I am not extremely confident the Ducks take this series, but at +250 and they way they have been playing I cannot lay off taking a small chance on them. They have the best defenseman in the NHL and if their first line can continue to dominate like they have been the last month, they can beat anyone in these playoffs.
Play: Ducks (risking 1 unit to win 2.5)

I haven't played any games yet because I like to see how the first couple games of each series pans out first. Tonight, I really like the Flames. They blew leads in both games in Chicago, and I think they respond like the Flyers did in game 3 yesterday. There is simply way to much talent and experience on this team to drop this game at home to a young Blackhawks team.

Nice win for the Flames tonight. In the previous post I meant risking 2.8 to win 2. I will probably play some game lines tomorrow.
