What's with all the love? They haven't traveled outside of the West Coast the entire season and now have to go all the way to Indiana to play a Valpo team that's lost 1 home game the entire season. Both public and sharps pounding St. Mary's.

one thing i will agree with is the amount of one sided action could possibly translate into -crooks offering stm to throw the game.
however, from a pure matchup perspective stm is alot better is why your seeing this action
valpo has a #47 rating with sos of 165 compared to stm #31 and 156 sos. also gonzaga is deep in this tourney and by looks of the line they will likely win again- yet stm has beaten them and let's face facts they should have been included in the tourney with gonzaga.
looking at the team pages they want to show the committee that they should have been in by winning this tourney.
i think this will be a close game. this will be vegas money vs stm- so you could be right vegas will payout the dog ml to stm and they likely dont want that but the cover is live?

Well said seer. Almost seems like a setup, but I'll take my chances with Mary tonight

How is a 29-5 team not in the NCAA Tournament. It's a fucking travesty....

They had make room for all those Crap12 teams that got beat, lol

I live 10 miles from St. Marys and can tell you this team should have been in the tourney. They are on probation from something an Asst. Coach, who is no longer with the team, did a couple of years ago and were not allowed to play in the holiday tourneys, which is where did usually get to play teams from the major conferences which helps their RPI and SOS.

They did beat Gonzaga twice and lost to Cal at Cal by just 4 and had a chance to tie with a three near the end. I' played them tonight at +4 at Bookmaker. The only concern is I don't know much about Valpo, although the WCC is the better conference. Everyone knows St. Marys and Monmouth should have been in the tourney instead of Michigan and Tulsa. One reason they did not make it is because their games start at 11:30 PM New York time when most people are asleep already.

They are an experienced team with 6 Aussies who played hi level ball there including some on the National team. Think Patty Mills who is now with San Antonio. And don't forget, St. Marys has the highest FG % in the country of any team at over 50%. They pass the ball and get easy shots. Geez, reading this I should increase my bet.
