This game jumped out at me as well. Haven't had the time to look deeply at it but it certainly does look like this team of two identities (that's for you) has been bringing the more attractive version to the field on Saturdays as of late. Anyone have any insight into what happened in that Clemson game?

You might have a point about GT getting points at home...they are 2-0 ATS so far this year as home dog. But recent history sides with MD, which has beat Georgia Tech two straight since Friedgen became coach.
GT 3-8 ATS at home in 2000 and 2001.
MD 7-3 ATS on the road under Friedgen in 2000 and 2001, but 0-2 so far in 2003.

This line jumped out at me as well, but I thought it was too low. I guess my thoughts on this game are influenced by my perspective as a Clemson fan. Clemson's beaten Tech twice while losing by 18 and 14 over the past two seasons to Maryland. It's hard for me to view Tech as anywhere close to Maryland.
What happened in this year's Tech-Clemson game? First, unlike Friedgen, Gailey is not the kind of coach who can coach circles around Bowden. Second, Clemson has better talent. Third, Tech was overconfident after the win over Auburn and the one-point loss in Tallahassee. Fourth, stopping the running game of Auburn and FSU is much different from stopping the Clemson passing attack.

solid points,mws......i`m still looking.....i was actually surprised that clemson didn`t beat nc st outright....this is a much better clemson club this year....and those big receivers....looked like they started slow and never really got untracked.....and a little better running game this year....if the tigers had a real stud in the backfield(mcclendon from nc st?),they`d be a real load....the "d' is quite good....
Guaranteed that MD's defense will give Ball things he has never seen before. Md will be up for this one and perry is as healthy as he's been all year. MD gave up 7 points to Clemson and shut out WVU until the end of the game. Duke was shut out until Md emptied its bench. GT has one of the worst offenses in the conference. No reason to think that they will be able to put up points either. Look for MD to have its best game in the air. Mcbrien will throw for 3 TD's.
