Some guys have all the luck. Hugh Hefner's former butler is claiming that after he was hired to manage Demi Moore's Idaho ranch, the sexy star not only tried to seduce him, but also fired him when he turned her down!
Lawrence Bass is claming that Moore made the moves on him and behaved much like her character did in the film "Disclosure" with co-star Michael Douglas. Bass told Star magazine, "She thinks she can turn on her sexual powers and get whatever she wants from any man. And, like her character in that movie, she seeks revenge when she's rejected."
Bass was hired back in March 2001 but says that Moore waited a few months before going after him. "I was on my knees on the floor, trying to get into a cabinet, when she came up beside me and began lightly stroking my neck in a very sensual way," he told the tabloid. Then there was a time when he says she lured him to a love seat and began caressing the inside of his left leg. "As soon as I realized where this was headed, I said, 'We can't do that.'"
Bass also claims that Moore knew he was involved with another woman: "Maybe Demi just wanted to prove that she was still attractive to other men." Yikes. I'm visualizing a 40-year-old walking piranha!
So how serious is this guy? Serious as a complaint filed with the feds and the Idaho Human Rights Commission on grounds of sexual harassment and discrimination. Oh, and let's not forget, he's also seeking more than $200,000 in damages.
Moore's attorney, Martin Singer, told the New York Daily News that he's considering a countersuit against Bass for running to the Star. "This guy signed a confidentiality agreement," Singer says. He also informed the tabloid that Bass was a "disgruntled ex-employee" and that his "ridiculous" lawsuit "has no merit." Hmm, we'll just have to follow up on this juicy story is it unfolds.
