I don't see why Buffalo wouldn't have a shot at home against the Habs in their opener. The Habs are a good team, but they aren't some dominating team that can't be beat.
My Leafs start the season on the road against the Red Wings with Hossa making his debut, so you can see why I don't feel bad for Buffalo playing at home against Montreal. lol
The Sens, my hometown team, start the season with a two game series in Stockholm against the Pens, which should be interesting. I'd expect a split there.
I might drive down to Toronto for the Leafs home opener against the Canadians on the Saturday if I can somehow get tickets, but we'll see. That game will set the tone of the Leafs season IMO. If they get killed by Detroit and Montreal to start the year you know it'll be another long season, but if they can beat Montreal in the home opener it will give some hope for the season.
