If such a deal took place, New Jersey would immediately waive Oberto and Bowen to get under the 15-man roster limit. No deal is imminent, but it's starting to sound like VC won't be in NJ for much longer.

yea that doesnt make any sense for the spurs to make that trade. maybe just a wild rumor?

Deal is dead, rules wont allow it.

Makes little sense for either side. It would make the spurs the title favorites for the next year or so but they would litterally have to sign guys to the vet minimum to fill out their roster. They would have over 10 mil a year commited to 4 players.

Nets are not going to trade their team leader for a role player would would not do well at all with them. Mason is a great fit for SA, and other elite teams, but all he can do is shoot spot up jumpers.
