History may be made today at San Francisco as Maddux goes for 300. Probably one of the best pitchers of our time, and yet, least embraced by the media. If you do not throw a 100 mph heater, you just are not worth writing about. Well, he is one of the best control pitchers ever, and except for Barry, rest of SF lineup does not have a clue. Total power outage, as they can't hit anything deep. He gets Hennessey on other side. Giants had one rook pitch lights out against Reds. Lowry was just amazing. But with Jerome now on DL, another rook gets to start. Little tougher start vs. Cubs and Maddux. Giants gave him #200, could make it #300 today.
