1 unit plays 10-8 (+4.42 units)
2 unit plays 2-1 (+1.30 units)

Kind of like kissing your sister, went 3-3 yesterday for a profit of .77 units. broke the two day losing streak which is nice. Reality is I shoudnt complain because of you think about it, if I averaged a profit of .77 units every day of the year I would make alot of money.... but I will complain nonetheless:

Of course washington was a poor play as they got hammerred 8-1, they are gonna be a real bad team I feel with ovechkin being their only bright spot. but WTF happened in that mon/tor game, it was 0-0 at the nine minute mark of the second period & I was sitting here feeling like a real genius for having the under in that game... then the two teams proceed to score 9 goals in the second half of the hockey game? WTF?

then there is Tampa, they have a 2-0 lead with less than 1 minute left & we are looking real good for out -1.5 +167 play but Florida scores a Power play goal snatching victory from our grasp & generating a 2.67 unit swing.... would have been a great day if not for that goal

I feel your pain. I bet lots of underdogs (even plays I don't post) and I got hammered today.

henderson, if you go back through my record, I have been BURNT by the "NON" empty net goal 4 times so far this year....

2 of them were totals where I had 5.5 & the game ended 3-2 with no empty netters being scored, then there is tonite no empty netter with Tampa Bay... there was also another one that I cant remember now....

I am sure I will have my share of EMPTY NETTER victories, but so far this year I have been BURNT by the NON empty netters...

2 units:

Calgary + 135

two very big reasons why I like the Calgary Flames today against the Detroit red wings. Classic match of a team of the future vs a team on the decline. If you want to see an athelete with the proverbial "eye of the tiger" look no further than Jarome Igninla.... this guy does it all, is in inspiration to his team & is hungry... you can see it in his eyes.

of course detroit is a good team, & on their own home ice, they could certainly win this game, but if you ask me, this game could go either way.... in fact if I was forced, I would make Calgary a slight favorite of -110 or so.... the bookmaker however is offering +135 on the flames.... if someone asked you wether or not you would take +135 on a coin flip, would you do it? of course you would.... to me, this is slightly better than a coin flip....

I will take a shot here on the flames...
