Here a little morning action from my card.

5* Cincy +14
Love the returning starters for Cincy from a team that has UNDERACHEIVED. Since the Bucks typically play close to the vest, gotta take the experience and the points

4* Penn St -15
Look for bounce back in this game (perhaps not the season). Joe Pa given time should be able to get his team ready despite a very good Zips offense. Just not sure Zips defense can hold up their end versus improving and explosive PSU offense.

5* California -13'
First of all, believe the hype of this Cal team. They are experienced and have one of the best young coaches in the land. And he learned from a great coach while at Oregon. Bears are loaded and two deep at all skill positions. Air Force is not. There is a huge rebuilding effort going on with the Falcons returning on 6 starters and less than 20 lettermen.

5* Michigan -13
This is a lot of respect for a MAC team with UM laying 2Td's. This one will be close for a half but Michigan has too much speed and explosiveness on offense, and I always play against QB's making their first start in hostile stadiums. This fits the bill.

Rutgers +6
Same as above Michigan in this one. Rutgers program should be VASTLY IMPROVED now that players know the system and recruiting has been very good. Knight WILL HAVE the better athletes in this one and MSU breaking in newbie at QB. Go against.

Adding for the evening

5* Memphis +3'
Must admit that this line surprised many that I spoke with. Ol' Miss lost not only QB Manning but any other key components of both lines. They'll be facing a team that just dominated them on both sides of the line LY. Memphis returns all of those weapons plus they are getting a couple kids back from the previous year with injuries. DC JL Dunn no stranger to Miss as he faces and defeated them many times when he was at MSU so expected Tiger to show many defensive fronts.

4* Miss St -6
I had a chance to see bulldogs practice during the spring and think switching to veer/option will allow them to use some of the speed that they have in the back field. O line should benefit from the switch in block schemes and defense has depth and talent. Green wave had to play so many kids LY due to injuries, unfortuantely those same players are still young and not quite ready to play. They only have 10 SR's on the entire roster mostly on the O line and at receiver. They have yet to settle on a QB or RB.

3* Baylor +14'
Seems like a lot of points to lay for a team that had problems scoring. Both defenses should improved so expect this one to come down to the kickers.

4* Stanford -17'
Stanford geared for this one as this is bay area rival and it may be their best chance for a win this year. Stanford D should be considerably better and help put the Offense in short field locations. SJSU just does not seem to be heading in the proper direction as they have problems on the field and financially within the program. If things don't turn around, there's a good chance that they'll have to drop football. No money for coaches, no money to recruit outside of their area, that'll doom a program.

Nice night for me (7 -2 ATS) fellas with or without the Stanford game (which I hope they hold onto). Back on Sunday for a couple more plays. Let's hit them while the lines are soft.
