Let see, the trend is usually Good Saturday Early, bad Saturday late, then Excellent on Sundays. Keep this in mind as we hope to break this trend.

5* Niagara -12
Marist playing without Center who is 2nd leading scorer and Top rebounder McKlurkin. Granted Niagara does not play much defense but expect Marist to not be able to keep up.

5* Rider -6'
Best team in MAAC on tough home court

4* Ohio St -10
Can't play UM team with injuries and suspensions on the road. Not enough firepower to keep up in this one

3* Ga Tech +10
Catching Duke off tough loss to Wake Forest. May take some time for them to get rolling and I think Tech can keep this one close

4* UCLA +16
UW will want to run and gun and UCLA has proven over the last couple years that it can do that as, especially off slow grinding win over WSU.

5* Ohio -2'
Made a ton on WMU this year playing with and against and this is AGAINST spot. Ohio has been rolling of late and they get back home where they have been double tough against upper echelon teams

Ya know, I could kick myself in the rear for not playing Zona. I had them circled last night after their performance on Thursday and backed off after speaking with a buddy in Tucson who was going to the game. He was playing Trees as he had made the drive up to see them in Tempe on Thurs and was giving me a scouting report. I will make him buy me dinner when we get to Vegas for Madness next month

Adding

4* St Joe's -14
Don't look now but Hawks have been really impressive. Don't see this as a down spot since they are playing a team that won't defend them or stop the penetration and kick

4* UNLV -8
Rebels have been helter-skelter but have handled lesser teams @ home. BYU definately lesser this year as graduation, missions and injuries have ravaged their team.

Did not know they would be that inept offensively but keep it up and hope they don't catch lightening in a bottle like NMSU did Thursday from 3pt line. They shot 50% to beat one of my plays.

Adding the following for tonight

6* Wichita St -14
Teams going in opposite directions and Shockers playing with revenge. ISU cannot score and their interior defense is poor. Shockers are athletic both inside and on the perimeter. Expecting 20+ point blow out in this one

5* Denver -3
Best in SunBelt west square off. Denver off narrow win vs NMSU where State shot 50% from 3pt line. Denver also beat Cajuns easily in Lafayette as 7 pt dogs earlier. They played well against Cajuns despite having far less talent in past years.

3* Evansville-5
Love the Purple Aces at home against middle of the pack talent

4* No Texas -7

4* Rice -2
Must win home game for Owls versus a UTEP team that has struggled on the road of late. Tough gym to play.
