I'm not not thrilled about this week's card, but
that might bode well for the selections. When you think you have a bunch of locks, that's when you get slapped down.

OKLAHOMA ST +3.5
Have a feeling that the Cowboys will do to Texas what they used to do to Oklahoma. A live dog at home. Better running game, better coach.

KANSAS ST -18
The Cats disappointed me last week with a lackluster effort vs. Baylor. They are very much alive in the Big 12 North and should rebound with a vengence against the Cyclones.

KANSAS +16.5
I thought that the Hawks were done for the year when Whittemore went down. Freshman QB Barman was very impressive minus his redshirt against A&M. I don't see the Blue Ducks winning because
its still Nebraska, but I have a feeling they may score enough points to keep it close.

MISSOURI -4
This is tough call because it is tough going to
Boulder, and even tougher giving points there.
Mizzou is easily the better team. Brad Smith is amazing and Pinkel is coaching his ass off.
This is a huge game for the Tigers because it sets up a showdown with K St for the Big 12 North. It won't be easy, but I think they win and cover.

OKLAHOMA -30
You've got to believe now. OU may let down a bit, but they are still that good and apparently getting better. A&M is overmatched on the road.

others:

MISSISSIPPI +8
Auburn is starting to play better but still has
a record of 1-3 against quality teams. Ole Miss
is really hitting its stride and has a 4-1 record against quality teams. Auburn still has
Georgia and Bama to look forward to and I don't see a max effort on their part. The Rebs might sneak out a W here if its a shootout. My play of the week.

ILLINOIS -1
THE Toilet Bowl in the Big Ten. The Illini D
impressed me early in the year. I don't know what happened. I suspect that their lack of offense wore them out. I think Illinois is the better team here but not by much. They win and cover the small spot.

luck to all

Like K-state and Osu
Boulder is a tough place.
Hope Mizzou can atleast win that one.
As for aTm/OU
OU is down to 2 RB's(Works & Estus are out) and don't want to remove any redshirts. Look for OU to pass often. early this week I liked aTm but now it looks like a tough call. Not sure if revenge will be a factor in this game either. But the prognosticators seem to disagree.
