Looking at Watchmon right now although Afleet Alex looks like the horse to beat.

Also looking at Chekhov & Indy Storm


Everyone's thoughts appreciated

Southern Africa should be well placed coming into the final furlongs. Everyone outside of the most public players knows that closers do not do well in the Belmont. Favorites have also not done very well. If those two items hold up, Southern Africa will be the right horse at the right price.

Computer Program Pick on the Belmont Stakes

My computer program which is called Horseplayer picks the #8 Reverberate with #9 Afleet Alex right behind him and then a dropoff with #4 Southern Africa,#1 Nolan's cat,#11 Chekhov.When I ran this program for the Preekness it picked the top 3 right in order No BS.So I might put a small amount on Reverberate what the hell if Sarava could win a couple of yrs ago why not.Might be another big pay day on Sat.:toast: arty:

Watchmon intrigues me as he looks like he can run all day. Don't like him to win, but he could get a piece. Andromeda's Hero, looks like he can handle the distance too.

Not sure yet what to do with Afleet Alex. Certainly the best horse, but used a lot the last two races. Plus I think he might have to go the lead here, which could be killer.
