Satellite radios........ why no satellite portable TV's yet?

They've made the satellite radios now, for cars, etc., how great will it be when small, portable satellite TV's are produced. Man oh man, what a treat this would be for sports lovers/gamblers!

You can get satellite TV for motor vehicles - it is a disk that lays flat on the roof, would look odd if it were on a car, but seem to go ok on SUVs and trucks.

saw this Tracvision Device on a Cable channel awhile back. Its for watching DTV in your vehicile as you move it allows multiple tuners for the passengers to view. Well guess what catalog came with it in Crutchfield ! Its a wooping $ 3499.99 !

Pretty cool NO more Dish pointing . It measures only 5 inches high and 32 inches square.

Anybody pony up here to buy one yet ?

TV in the car is more of a safty issue than radio.

The cars with screens generally have them in the back seat (for the kids). There maybe some for the front passenger, but the driver isn't getting TV any time soon.

TV's would be ok in the car. If nothing else to just listen, but it would present a traffic hazzard.

Imagine an interstate full of vehicles listening to the TV and the annoucer says, "Hey look at these tits

on Brittney Spears". I assure the line of cars would swerve

general, its the same thing though without a tv in the car i have had freinds of mine tell me to checkout a nice chick wearing next to nothing walking down the street before and i damn near get in a accident

Cell phones are bad enough.

I can just imagine it now, getting rear ended by a soccer mom talking on a cell phone as she watches a soap opera in her SUV. AHHHHHHHHHHHH
