I was SO excited to see the Argos come back last week to lower the line. I figure if the Argos had been 1 - 3 and lost that game this line would be at least -7 for the riders.
Durant starting instead of Crandell allows the offense to stay the same way it has been the last 2 games when they put up 30+ points. The defence has been pretty solid. They lose John Chick this week but gain Marcus Adams back.
The Argos save for that last 109 yard drive are not playing well and to suggest that drive has solved all their problems is ridiculous. Their defence is giving up big chunks of yardage which they always have but this year they arent limiting teams to FG's they are letting in majors. Their offense is without David Boston, Bethel Johnson and probably Andre Talbot and Kerry Joseph has not looked stable back there. Bishop no doubt wants in and there is still animosity there.
Anyways I am all over the Riders -5 and was just wondering what everyone thought about this game. I think even if Joseph does want to come back here and play a great game he doesnt have the weapons to do it and who would know better how to target his weaknesses ( making him a pocket passer ) better then Ken Miller.
