He actually has a case based upon the termination being part and parcel with what is considered by law to be a disability in alcoholism, and treatment needed to be offered as an alternative unless there were previous oral and written warnings.
Memphy, he was "warned" back in August before the season began. He was drunker than a skunk at some function, can't remember exactly what it was now, and I have to believe they offered him rehab which he probably refused. 8ate, I initially laughed at that one, but then my mind took over, terrorism isn't funny.

if you are an alcoholic and are fired, you can file wrongful termination.
if you are an alcoholic and show up to work hammered, you have no case.
Sark must really be having problems finding a job. He messed up but really there has to at least be a Division 2 or 3 job willing to take a gamble on him pending treatment.
He's just made it much much worse for him to get any coaching job. I'm not sure Payless would hire him now. Maybe he's hoping U$C will pay him another few million to make it all go away. They better not
If USC had a morals clause written into the contract, and they provided counseling, they may be able to beat it. My guess is he's just trying to recoup back pay. I think when they let him go, he was not paid for the remaining years on his contract. Just a thought though...He actually has a case based upon the termination being part and parcel with what is considered by law to be a disability in alcoholism, and treatment needed to be offered as an alternative unless there were previous oral and written warnings.

He's in the right state to file it. I like that the filing said kicked him to the curb 3 times in the first 10 lines. But disability? Ha! He had hand to bottle to mouth syndrome. How bout not doing stupid shit in public. The dude had cause to be fired. Now if it had been a private issue he might have had more legs to stand on. But like I said, this is Caleeefornia. It's one of just a few states where this lawsuit has merit. So I wouldn't be surprised if he at least partially wins. Hell, in that state they let murderers walk. It wouldn't surprise me if they reinstated his job!I agree. He very well may win this.
Haden is a retard as well!
