i love how he said Oregon and Arizona State suck yet he has never beat either of them in his career (0-9). love the drunk coaches like moeller and holgorsen (and now sarkisian)...just liquor them up and put a mic in front of them. good times

at least it makes for a new easy nickname: Cutty

What's funny is one of the reasons they passed on Ed Orgeron was because Haden thought he wasn't polished enough. Kind of funny this happens to Sark. I do believe the guy is going through a messy divorce, and he may have needed to blow off some steam. Not sure but it does not look good.

Too bad nobody was on hand to periscope the tongue lashing Haden gave to a drunken Sark. Remember the Stanford game last season when Sark called Haden down from the booth because he thought the refs were giving him the business? Then after the game he's hopping around like a Mexican jumping bean who had just won the Super Bowl. I wonder if Stanford has this game circled?

This could put him on a premature hot seat at USC. Sounds like Gary Moeller at Michigan years ago.

That is EXACTLY what it has done both with AD Pat Haden and more importantly, the alumni. Like most alum's I expect USC to do no worse that win the Pac 12 South. Failure to do so would bring out the red flags. Now, with this idiotic display, the flags are already flying. Sark was already on a rather short 3-4 year leash, but now he may have lost a year because of his behavior.

Hell, Sark probably earned himself some street cred from his players for that display...The team will probably play their asses off for him now.

I doubt that. It sounds like the same type of stunt that Stoops played at OU when he canceled practice so his athletes could protest the all white Frat on campus. It may work for a game or two, but USC's first two games are cream puffs against Arkansas State an Idaho. The next two games, vs Stanford and at Arizona State will tell the tale. This team lost three games that were inexcusable last season. Losing to Boston College and Utah, plus giving the Arizona State game away are not easily forgotten by we alums. What happens if he is a functioning alcoholic and can not function without alcohol? We will find out, but if he does not start 5-0 headed to South Bend, he is in trouble. Four of USC's first 5 games are at home.

Thank God 'Bear Bryant' and many of the old time greats don't coach today.

I hear you Clover, but it is what it is. Today, you ant take a crap without someone shooting it on their smart phones if you are a well known personality. What Sark did was totally and completely inexcusable. It was not just what he said about Oregon and Notre Dame. Some of the alleged jokes he told were way off base and upset many ladies attending the event. What he did was move from: "He should win the Pac 12 South or we talk about it", to: "He had better win the Pac 12 South or else." Let's see just how good he is.

This isn't going to have any effect whatsoever with what USC does on the field. And I don't want to hear any excuses about if or when the Caleefornia glamour boys screw the pooch. Harbaugh was 10 times worse about the things he said to the press about other programs. But his teams were able to back it up and kick ass, especially USC's ass. Howard Smellyburger was an old drunk and still won a National Championship at Miami. I don't want to hear any excuses, now or after the season...
