Happy to see rosario back up he liked noblety from the get go, gomez obviously goes with the o'neill horse, we thought this race would be a shorter field, I have mixed emotions after handicapping race, he has a shot he has been training awesome. hence miller did not want to drop him and we have always wanted to see how he handles the turf, appreciate some feedback from fellow rx handicappers.

Why $55K claiming price and not $62.5K ?

55,000 claiming to drop the weight to 118, each pound is $2500 weight's are set at 121, so 3 pounds off costs us 7500 off claiming tag.

Your running your horse over his head.
You should of been patient and run for 40000.
These are some hard knockers that have been around the block.
Good luck,but I dont like the placement of your horse.

we have been patient there is no 40k claimers for strict 4yr old's there was a 40 and up but the race had some good older horses running, in this race for 55 or 62,500 is the same as running 40k with olderhorses in my opinion.

greenhead i cant disagree with you this is a tough spot for our horse, I do like that spot on saturday the 7th, problem is we are commited to this race today, in santa anita you have to have more than 10 horses in a race to scratch day of without bein placed on the vet list for 10 days, after talking to the trainer all we can hope is not to get hooked with the early speed and get a good trip off the early pace, but i agree i would like to see this horse run 40claimer 1 mile turf there is a race for him in new book in 17 days so this can be a prep race and hopefully we get lucky and win or hit the board.

interesting development this morning stewards have called off all turf races today because of light rain, we are weighin are options and will make decesion soon, we can scratch without penalty but that march 7 race 1 mile turf might also be tough big card that day inflated purses might catch a 6yr old droppin ect, this race today might have 3-4 scratches so we will see......

i appreciate the congrats boyz!!!! thank u i didnt want to talk shit about this horse but i did bet him with triactors win3 win4 as well, if i was confident i would of hit pic 6 as well, but with the money we spent on him originally at penn national then to saritoga then our home hastings park in vancouver, this is very gratifying as an owner did not excpect this win we actually instructed rosario to lay off the pace which i thought was not possible he rode this horse brilliantly unreal!!! just got home drinks galour!!!!!
