Some games I'm interested in and initial thoughts..

Knicks @ Wizards

Like the Wiz to get off the donut in the win column tonight. A porous Knicks defense is just what they need to see on their home court to get their first win of the season. I love backing home teams on Friday nights. Crowds are bigger, they're drunker and louder and offer up much more of a home court advantage. We still don't have a huge sample of games to work but I have a feeling this Knicks team is gonna be a lot worse on the road than at home.

Minnesota @ Sacramento

Liked Sacramento the other night at home to get their first win and cover and like them again here. These teams played a close game to start the season and Minn won by 2. Sacto won the rebounding battle but had some bad turnovers and a unusual 5 for 19 night out of K Mart. A much more comfortable team at home I think the Queens can cover this bad boy.

Dallas @ Denver

I don't get this line frankly. Denver should be laying upwards of 4-5 imo. I actually would probably like it better if Chauncey wasn't playing. There would most certainly be some hiccups in the offense if he played tonight. Denver plays well at home and should get their first home win here tonight. Gonna be a tough game to gauge if Chauncey plays but I'd lay the one without him tonight. Gotta see what his status is..

Memphis @ Golden State

What a shitfest the Warriors displayed last week in Memphis. They shot 34% and 15% from the arc. I have to believe they want to rectify that pathetic performance with running the Grizz out of the gym tonight. Memphis is turning a lot of heads early in the season and have been getting more love than usual. I'm not buying it yet. I think they get steamrolled tonight..

Houston @ LAC

What a demoralizing loss last night for Houston. Amazing game but a kick in the junk from their perspective. Go to overtime lose it once, come back and go up by one and then get the dagger in their heart from Roy. That can't be easy to recover from. Luckily for them, they get the hapless Clippers. The Clips have seemed to play every game close or ahead at halftime and then they get completely demolished in the second half. At least 4 of their games already have turned out this way but with the way Houston lost last night and the brutal overtime game I'm not sure they'll have enough in the tank around the 4th quarter tonight. Like the Clips to actually hang on tonight..

Just some initial thoughts before getting a little deeper. Drop something if ya got it. Good Luck Everyone.. :103631605

Golden State will be looking to avenge an embarrassing 90-79 loss to the Grizzlies in Memphis on Monday, while the Grizz look to turn around their recent misfortunes away from home. Memphis is already 0-3 on the road this season and have lost 25 of their last 29 road encounters. Meanwhile, they have lost four straight in Oakland.
The Warriors will likely be without high-scoring forward Corey Maggette for a second straight game due to a sore left hamstring.

Looks like Billups is playing. Gonna be tough deciding whether he gives them a lift tonight coming back home or struggles with the new offense and team..

Nice thoughts Salt.

Good luck tonight potna. I like fading the mavs on the road after their big road win. I'll bite on Denver -1. The mavs are on the front page of vegas insider. always a kiss of death. Denver is gonna be a tough environment with Chauncey coming to town. Place will be nuts and I am just not sold on the mavs. after coming off that big win against SA i think they show up flat tonight at den.

Also like OKC. LVSC had it at 13 and it opens up at 11.5 and subsequently drops to 11. Caught it at 11.5 at -106 at matchbook. Besides it seems like such a gimme taking utah to blowout OKC. They are like 80-30 or some shit at home ATS. OKC sucks poopoo. Don't think this is a sucker's line trying to get OKC action since the line dropped since open. I am gonna bite.

The only super cubic one i like is NO laying road chalk. they have been impressive so far on the road and with them coming off of a home loss, i think they'll be little better prepared tonight. I think they thought they would cruise through ATL at home and they showed up unprepared and underfocused. I see them coming out focused tonight. Gonna lay the square play on this one,

I got off work early so i can actually get on therx this afternoon.

good luck!:dancefool

Right on Miz. Appreciate the thoughts. I'll be adding Denver as well. Shaping up to be a big card. I usually like to keep it thin but I think there are some good plays out there..

I hear ya. but you figure if you have one play on a night with 3 games then it shouldn't be unreasonable to have 3 or 4 plays on a night w/ 13 games.

At least that is how i make myself feel ok putting out so much action at once LOL
