All the local newspapers in SC having been running stories about how South Carolina has really come into thier own this year with the best season in recent memory. All the publications are praising them for being at the top of their bracket in their division of the SEC. Looking for them to play Kentucky as if it were the National Championship.
In the last 4 home games for South Carolina, they've shot 70% (average) from the FT line... Kentucky has shot 73% on average from the FT line on the road in the last 4 games. There really isn't that much of an edge there from the FT line. USC shot 40% less from the FT line in the first matchup, and shot 10% worst from the floor, yet still won...
i'm a s. carolina fan and don't post very often and i don't like this spot for s. car. the hype for this game around the state is to much. we still have vandy, georgia, and tenn left, so this is by no means a must win for us. kentucky on the other hand has to win this game or i think they'll be on the outside looking in when tourney time comes along. just thought i would express my feelings from a fan standpoint. take it for what it's worth.
