I have eliminated the rating system we were using mainly becasue I feel there has not been enough research into what these ratings should be.

Those ratings were based on member's personal experience and it was one of the most helpful tools this site had.

Of course, I could see why you would want to remove all the [NP]'s, you wouldn't want to scare off those books from potentialy advertising here.

It's getting deeper and deeper in here.

With all these changes, I feel like I've lost a friend.

Someone I trusted and counted on to be there is gone.

Sportsadivisory, sorry you feel that way, but the ratings were way outdated and IMO in a lot of cases inaccurate. The main reason for the thread has always been links to various sportbooks. Personally I don't think it is fair to say a sportsbook pays great of doesn't pay based soley on a couple of posts made who knows when. For a comprehensive list of sportsbook ratings vist SBR who rate sportsbooks for a living.

Do the books that advertise here agree to allow TheRx to mediate any disputes or do they simply agree to allow TheRx to act as a liaison? There is a big difference.

Why doesnt Rx ask all members on the site to rank their top 10 books every year? It helps to point to the listing bc there will be hundreds of questions about best books.

Another idea...Have a poll similar to City polls asking about restaurants? You can call it Rx Member Awards....Instead of seafood, steak...Ask questions like:

What is best book for props?
Best juice?
Parlay/Teaser?
Soccer?
Entertainment bets?
Quickest to post?
Customer service?
Technology?
Etc.............

I am sure Pinnacle would win most of these.

I think Pinnacle has the distinction of being both the best book and the most underrated book, they are just that good.

Baker, The Rx. maintains excellent communication with all advertiser books, and we are able to make contact very quickly in the case of a dispute. Is there some binding medation clause in their contract - No there isn't. Are all of our advertiser books willing to work with the moderators here to settle disputes - yes they are. Sometimes books won't settle a dispute to everyone's satisfaction as recent events have showed, but they all are available for discussion whenever necessary.
