Fish did wear one one night at Selmon's.
So of course they do exist if only in the hands of the mods and a few others with various working agreements with or within the RX. Yes and Fish did tell me they were "rare". To his credit he did give me a great looking sportsbook polo shirt. Thanks again Fish.
If in fact the accesibility of these shirts to regular posters is nothing but an insider joke, it is an unfortunate insider joke. Can't imagine not wanting the free advertising in the places we frequent.
Some thin-skinned, righteously indignant poster with a polo shirt fetish may just possibly resent being the butt of some such joke and post much less than he did before if at all. Thus less hits all around. I see this "long running joke" to be nothing more than welching on one's word boys. I am now owed two from the RX. One from a supposed contest the other for 1000 posts.
Austin welched on a verbal agreement with me on a polo shirt to be sent upon an agreed amount of deposit to be left in his book indefinitely. Quite the deal for him I thought. I deposited the agreed amount and it grew but I refrained from withdrawing anything but winnings. Called him three times over the next 6 or 7 months and the shirt was always about to be mailed. Never was though. Let it be said I withdrew my balance and no longer play at Grande nor will I ever. Nor will I ever recommend the book again. A man who cannot keep his word in this business is not a man to do this business with. The price of what I have just written is not worth the wholesale price of that shirt to him much less the loss of a loyal customer. And again I'm befuddled by the lack of interest in the free advertising.
Something for the powers that be to think about.
Either send the damn RX shirts or shut up about them before y'all piss more people off. You owe me two XXL. It's settle up time.
