Rx GOLF SCRAMBLE ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON...SHRINK CAN YOU HELP

Have talked to few guys who are interested in a 2 man scramble on Sunday, maybe 10-11 AM (before it gets real HOT

) everybody who wants to play sign up here and put down handicap...will divide up and randomly pull 2 man teams..maybe everybody put up some $ and divide amongst winners...Now somebody said SHRINK knows Billy Walters and he has a few sweet courses out there...Shrink can you help us get some kinda deal on golf out there...not necessarily want for free, but maybe a cheap rate through The Rx? If anybody has any better ideas plez put'em here as these are not set in stone and everybody open to ideas...all know for sure is I am bringin my sticks to Vegas and would really enjoy playing....thoughts?????

it sounds like fun. I fly home sunday & cannot play. I would still like to have an outing Thursday around 2 PM for those interested. Their are plenty of nice courses around so I think their are a lot of people who would play both Thurs and Sunday

no thanks on friday, once is enough for me. I don't play much anymore. I thought the Royal Links course sounds fun so I want to give it a shot.

I don't want to be tired from the sun friday night. its going to be a long night, I mean I will go do something after the party, so I'll be up late.

noticed on BW's golf website they have afternoon specials of 50-80 after 2PM....HOT HOT HOT

Sorry to tell you but in Vegas, it will be at least 100 degrees if not hotter at this time and seeing as how a normal round takes about 4-5 hours it will be microwave oven hot when you are done - about 120 at least. if you want to golf when it is not as hot try first thing in the morning - 6 a.m. I know this is an ugly time to do it but you will be better off. Either that or about 4 p.m. or later.

Maybew some of the nitetime posters are interested...going to have 2 man teams but will play first and then draw out of a hat so no one has advantage...a little heat never hurt anyone..lotsa water and cold towels!!!!

It is bearable to play in the afternoon, especially now, while the temps remain below 110. At 120, it would be tough, but Hank is being a bit dramatic. It won't come close to that anytime soon.

It will be miserable for you guys at that hour. No need for a reservation as you will be the only one out there.

I suggest you guys go to BOULDER CITY..........7 degrees cooler and only about 35 a round for a nice course
