RX Gaming Men...How did you do during 2015?

I am not looking for more misery to make me feel better. Trusting more RXers won this year than they lost.
I had the worst year (2015) in maybe the past 20 years. Usually I win in college football but never got on track.
Could not cover losses in CFB with NFL. My early basketball was average at best and never provided any margin
needed for football. NHL has always been a money maker for me...so far I'm sucking air.

The new year is around the corner....I'm looking forward to it and would like to "thank" theRX for the fun and
enjoyment you have given me this year....even as a loser. Lot of damn good posters at this place.

Great forum here MEN....some boys may bitch but the RX is the place to be....................................

Over all I had a losing year, but the last 3 months have been really good to me. Hopefully starting the new year off right.

Reno..I have spent hours reviewing the 2015 season.

In the past the same paid off and now need to decide if changes are needed.

My last wager, if it lost, I'd swear off gambling until Christmas. It lost. I stopped. On christmas day I was playing on the site. Put in a parlay that including 3 NBA Unders and Bulls ML.. swear on it.. I wanted it to pay $5k so it was like 250ish.. I didn't submit it because I thought I want to keep this not gambling thing going until NFL Playoffs...

Of Course that parlay hits...
now I hate gambling even more.

The exact opposite of you, NCAAF was a success for me but crashed and burned with NFL. First Time thats ever happened in over 20 years of primary focus being NFL. Miserable Season.

Closed out Baseball at a plus (+), I stop messing with that basically (reduce number of bets and unit size) the last 4 weeks or so of the Baseball Season shut it down altogether during the last 17 days of Baseball Season and then return for limited action in Playoffs/World Series. Wound up plus (+) with Baseball but nothing great.

Did very well with Golf.

Made $$$ tailing Harry Caray and a couple others during the NHL Playoffs.....

Did very very well with the Women's World Cup.

Don't do anything with Basketball past a once in a Blue Moon Action Play (such as just yesterday Christmas where I LOST $$) because I've sworn off Basketball as result of the Tim Doneghey or w/e his name is scandal. NBA just too often lands to close to the lines....Totals Mainly....for me to be comfortable with it. So I don't mess with it. Tim Doneghy deal killed all interest I had in basketball....was nowhere near a focus of mine prior to that anyways.

Do bet March Madness though. Ended +.40 unit there. so basically broke even.....it was a lot of fun though.


many threads and posters here made me money this year....most part of the reason I wound up OK, to the plus overall....especially on Golf and that postseason NHL and also Baseball.

I posted plays a few years ago...couldn't handle it....it messes with your mind..You almost have to be selfish... So what I have done in recent years is, if someone wants to know what I am playing, PM me , and I will give it to you... seemed like the best solution...

He got me to back off a GOY Lock of The Century play I thought I'd found....something to do with Tampa Bay...I don't remember exactly the whole affair was kinda traumatizing.

Hockey Betting scares the shit outta me. I bet on it and I am totally nervous thereafter....until I (generally) lose the bet I made.

And been rooting for you to take it down cuz I was in the same spot there, in the NCAAF contest that I was here in ours (3rd Place) needing just total perfection to win the whole thing over there but I fell to pieces completely, was up waaaaaay too late too little sleep too little study of the limited slate of games so I submitted a card of 5 games that was about the STUPIDEST that was humanly possible to submit went 1-4 and completely embarrassed myself, fell totally out of the money...bubbled.

Yeah, shit, that was the theme pretty much of my late learning process......in that FINALS at least....damn still shudder to think how close I was to fading them in that one game.....traumatizing, like I say.

I haven't "crunched the %" and i won't cuz it don't matter but my impression was that over here, in our NCAAF Contest was a LOT more Brutal "Row To Hoe", like, win % it took over here to be in it was just outright insane and there?

many years dealing with this gaming stuff. Keep the stories coming guys...fun to read and helps all to better understand
this crazy ass business.

I've been hedging some with these NFL contests with strategic teasers and in game plays the last few weeks.. Its worked well so far, while staying in contention....more of the same these next 2 weekends
