Bills had a scoring drive, thats not 3 and out... 3 and out is on the 4th play you turn the ball over to the other team..... On the 4th play they kicked an extra point.

3 and out guys is being a baby, he knows he lost.

That's not even debatable the out part means they don't convert a first down.
This should not even be a discussion .

3 and out guy loses .

When a team gets a TD that counts as an official 1st down on the stats . So it's impossible to go 3 and out with a first down

What if they would have gotten to 4th and inches before getting a 1st down, gone for it, not gotten it, and turned it over on downs?

What if they threw a pick on the first play?

Was going to say the same thing as Harry...

What would be an interesting scenario would be if they turned ball over on first set of downs.

None of those are 3 and out either...may have been a more valid/acceptable argument then the original but still not "3 and out" (in my book.)

yeah he had a few beers so just wanted to screw with him after him laughing for 2 minutes about the bomb for a TD @):)

I said to bad they didn't tackle him that was only 3 plays :think2:

he said WTF that's not what you meant :ohno:

I said what 3 Offensive plays and a kick sounds good to me :):)

yeah don't think a TO is 3 and out cause we would bet a TO on this drive

thanks to the panel for taking the time to reply on this topic :103631605

here's the way someone with self respect scores the bet - an int, fumble or 3 plays and a punt is 3 and out - any other interpretation is that of a fucken rodent

How is my first scenario any different than 3 plays and a punt?

The are both 3 plays and then turn it over on downs on the 4th play - just one has a kick and the other doesn't.

Not that I care, just would be interesting.
