Captain #5 and Dante, I went out last night and was watching an NHL game, Detroit @ Columbus and keeping track of a NHL game that i had bet on, anyway, i struck up a conversation with the guy next to me and as it turned out, he was from Michigan. Of course he was supporting the Red Wings and after talking to him for a while, i came to the conclusion that he was knowlegeble about sports, so i asked him his opinion on the Michigan game. I told him the spread was Michigan -5.5. Then he went on to tell me about Michigan's players and their ability to score inside and he even admitted that Michigan hadn't played very well this year. I emphasized that Rutgers had a few guy's that had excellent outside shots and he thought that Michigan also did well on the outside. He also noted that Abram was healthy and felt that Michigan had stepped it up a notch. So, we kept on talking.... and his final conclusion, without a doubt, was Michigan is going to cover the points. you should NEVER lay this much on a game and trust me, all - NO ONE here is playing this pick - for it is a bad bet.
if you lose this one (and i think you might) you now have to win 3 bets to pay for this one). this is TERRIBLE money management and a bad bet. please don't tell me you make this bet on your own - for you are far too smart to do that.

winkyduck, Are you playing this game and if so, what is your opinion? I can always count on you to remind me of a bad bet when i post a high ML play. It's not going to take me at least 3 wins to make up for a high ML loss because i have bet the same amount on the ML as i would have had on the pt spread. I will just be making a considerable less amount on a ML win. If i lose,i lose. I have not increased my wager on the ML. There are 4 men's games left. Tonight's NIT Championship, (2) Final Four and then the NCAAB men's Championship. These 4 games represent the culmination of the entire NCAAB men's betting season for me and as many times that the point spread has come up short this year, tonight i am going to take the ML @-245. I know that even if it wins, you and others will consider it a bad bet. I am not asking anyone to play my bet, this is the only FORUM that i'm a part of and my posts are only a representation of my personal plays. I've been doing well lately, so there is plenty of room to be skeptical about a pt. spread play for me tonight. Yes, i did make the bet on my own. I'm doing NCAAB tonight and i'm going with the Michigan ML. I don't like the point spread going either way. Good Luck to you on your Hockey plays tonight.
