After watching today's games I think this is the worst line I have seen in quite some while. The USA looks like they have been playing together for a while and the Russians looked like a bunch of individual players with no emotions. Their defence is probably the worst of the top 4 teams and I think the speed of the USA will cause a lot of trouble for the russians. But I think Russia should be better prepared and motivated against the USA so I really like the over. I think USA should be around -140 for this game so this is an awesome price.

USA/Russa Over 5.5 -112, 3*

Ill also put a unit or two on USA ML when it comes out

sounds like russians didn't change their gameplan from 2010... recall the lack of teamwork in that tourney, except they had nabokov in net, which really accentuated the issue.. at least this time they have some goaltending. will there be a "nabokov moment" for varlarmov or bobrovsky?

Sorry just saw this. I didn't play anything on this game as I wasn't familiar with Norway. I'm glad I didn't because Norway looks pretty competitive and the canadians also look very good imo. It looks like it will be there tournament to lose

Me too.... two questionnable defences with a quick team and a talented team.

USA/Russia feels like a trap. I took Russia because that's what my math model called for, but my gut and heart are telling me USA and that the line is very soft. This is one bet I actually hope to lose.

have US +1.5 (-220) at my site. That line blows. Either will have to play moneyline or hold off

Yeah even at pinny where I got my line the line has now dropped a full half goal. I would definitely stay away now. The over creeped up also and is pretty close to being unplayable also. Looks like I'm not the only one who though these were soft lines

thats only reason i don't like usa not the math but the line, giving usa +1.5 today after they dominated slovakia and the russians struggling for the most part against a 1st time olympic team in slovenia makes me a bit cautious

Great game ran about even with the USA ML that I played for 1 unit. Russia suprised me today. Never thought I'd see a Russian team playing the trap. There was lots of nervousness from both teams early on which contributed to the under. If they meet again Ill play the over again as I expect a faster paste game the next time around.
