Limbaugh is just keeping it real. Things in life don't always go the way you wish they would. The fact is the republicans by no means dominate the senate. Republicans have three or four wishy-washy senators on the right side of the aisle who probably would have voted against Luttig etc...

Lots of conservative pissed, including Limbaugh, I should know as I try catch at least 15 minutes a day since 1990. Bush is not his or many conservatives favorite, but it who we have and he isn't a complete fraud like John the Fraud, Clinton, Gore and not a complete failure like Carter, Mondale, Dukakis and the rest of the demis.

Keep that chin up and never turn your back on a lib as they will cold cock ya as that is their technique of choice.

Been listening to Limbaugh for years...it makes me a better liberal.

Does anyone else remember the bashing Rush used to give Bush Sr. when he was in office? Every day we got to hear what a letdown he was after the sainted Reagan.
That is, until Rushie was invited to spend a couple of days at the White House. After that, Bush could do absolutely no wrong.

Conspiracy? No. Just an example of how Rushie can be bought for a couple of nights in the Lincoln bedroom.

you can call clinton a fraud, but when he was president, i sometimes paid under a dollar for a gallon of gas, with bush i pay close to $3/ gal.

i'll take the fraud, the fraud's wife, or anybody that isn't bought and paid for by exxon/mobil.

Tell me why you paid under $1 for gas under Clinton, and why gas peaked near $3 under Bush. You can't blame Bush for something if you don't know the cause. I think that is fair isn't it? You come up with a valid reason and you can say you hate Bush because of high gas prices.

I still have yet to hear one thing that Clinton did that made the economy better including keeping the gas prices down.

Anyone?

for one thing, i don't know the the cause. cheney, bush, the president of
exxon/mobil, saudis, don't confide in me. i can only speculate. some things i do know is that exxon is having record profits. because of the high prices,
environmental codes will be suspended as tax exempt refineries are built.
i'm using bill o reilly as a source, he states for gas to be $3/ gal, oil should be over $90/brl., so according to him, there is gouging.
i'm getting older, so global warming won't affect me as much as my children and grandchildren. if you're a young man, levistep, you better pray that the environmentalists aren't right, as you and your children will pay the price.
remember, the free market without regulations and checks, quickly turns into trusts and monopolies.

To me it is simple supply and demand. Demand (world wide) has gone up since Clinton era while our own US supply has remained the same because we have not increased our refining capacity. We could import more crude, but why when we simply don't have any more capacity to refine it and bring it to the market. Prices increased to limit demand...and yes, increase corporate profits but our dependance on foreign oil and OPEC allows them to sell it to us at a higher price also because they know we have the demand for it. If we as a consumer market quit paying $3 a gallon then they would lower the price, but we buy it because most of us have to drive to work. Gas is a unique product. If milk goes up to $5 a gallon, most of us would stop drinking milk and find a cheaper substitute. Hard to put anything else into your tank except unleaded. That is why some are pushing alternative fuels, electric cars, hydrogen etc...

time for your meds, Doc. You are again way over the top on your anger. Plus, you've exceeded your quotient on "full blown" for the next week. May I suggest you take your valium, then go out outside, walk down the street, talk to those hookers you know and talk to them about your "full blown" hangups. They might be able to help you with that.

Coast:

I state facts regarding Limbaugh and notice since ya cant deny .... it must be true

Hell, ESPN found out quickly ... the guy knows nothing more about football than my Mom and his hatred of African-Americans surfaced quickly ... the guy touted in 95 that all users of illegal drugs should be in prison yet fatass buys his illegal drugs in Dennys parking lots and has been high on the air for many years ... Fatass never served in the military and yet has the balls on the air to claim Cindy Sheehan's sons death was a story fabricated by the Left ...Fatass once told an African-American on the air to "take that bone out of your nose and then call me back" ... Fatass used to bark on the air and tell everyone that sound was "Chelsea, the Clinton family dog" .... Fatass gave Clinton hell constantly for "family values" when his Chubby, drug ridden ass cant find a way to stay married

This is the National Spokesman for Bush? Enough said as to why the Right is sliding downhill quickly

So why is Bush to blame? You can't attribute any blame to Bush, but you hate him for the high prices?

Btw, most monopolies are created BECAUSE of government regulation.

where did i say i hated bush ? i said that i'm speculating ( without proof)
that this administration might be turning their heads while some( exxon,
saudis) are profiting excessively for the rising oil/gas price.
i also said there is a potential danger by lifting environmental controls, not
as much to me, but to future gererations.
by monopolies and trusts, i was refering more to the illegal monopolies and trusts that existed before any government control, such as the time after
the civil war to before world war one.

The agenda and policies of this Repulican Administration, and Republican controlled Congress have certainly contributed to the rapid rise in energy prices. How much? Who knows as there are obviously other contributing factors.....Maybe if they put the heat on OPEC and the Saudi's the price per bbl wouldn't have spiked so high.
