Say you have a 2 team teaser. You have a team who doesnt cover then you have Columbia the other night, whos game got postponed. What is the ruling? Shouldnt it be a loss because any one loss constitues a loss?

I had two @ DSI with Columbia in them and both were graded as a loss. I imagine each book does it differently.

Each book does it different. I remember I had a 2 team teaser and the 2nd game was cancelled. They let me pick another game.

I should specify that there was other games in the teaser that were losers so thats why my teasers were losers.

like many others - i got the junk mail from Bet on Sports

i looked it over and it said a 2-team teaser with a loss and push is a loss - which is every reason you will ever need NOT to play there

my guess is most books should refund your money - but whether they will or not - is up to them.

I'd have to agree with the book if they graded it a loss. I mean, it's pretty far-fetched to assume you'd have gotten a push if they played.

According to "Las Vegas rules", a cancelled game reducedsthe number of teaser legs by one. If you now have a one-leg teaser, the teaser is no action, even if the one remaining teaser leg lost.

Any book that grades a loss/no action teaser as a loss is wrong. Realize, a cancelled game is NOT a tie. Some books provide that a "tie and a loss" on a teaser loses. Unless the book specifically states that "a no action game is treated as a tie", AND "a tie and a loss is a loss", they need to grade that play as a no-action.

Matt, the teaser should be ruled "no action". Unless you play at a ripoff book that rules a loss in a 2-team teaser as an automatic loser.
