20 second automatic delay on Live Betting. Max online wager $250. Wagers over $250 or late, accepted in error will be cancelled. Wagers graded as per Final Result

accepted in error?
kinda leaves them open to cancel any bet they choose no?

Sounds like BS.

I would go to Pinny for live wagering.

Sherman, I've always said the same thing goes with the "bad line" rule in which a book has the option to cancel a wager.....

20 second delay?

Seems like the only way to get it in would be during commercials. And $250 limit? Bah. Pinnacle baby.

Sherman,

Wager limits are $500 per line iteration and $5000 per game max cumulative. We also stay live through the game, not just at commercials. The 20 sec delay is a blanket policy for late wager acceptance. We have not had a single problem in this area since the inception of our live wagering platform.

Richard Jones

The limits are not a problem for me, as I am a small bettor....

what concerned me was the ability to cancel any wager accepted in error....

am i interperting this correctly.....it sounds like i can place a bet, but u can cancel it should you deem it was an accident?

Sherman,

This is based on line iterations each constituting a new contest. Most big plays potentially will take a line down and move it to a new number. If a wager is received excessively late on an iteration change it may not be accepted (say 20 seconds after the line changing play is completed).

Richard Jones

The live wagering is essentially at commercials only -- the server cannot process a bet in between plays quickly enough for it to be confirmed... I used it during the OU/USC national championship game, and the *only* time I could ever get a bet confirmed before it being an "invalid line" was during commercials.

Sounds like a win win situation for the books.

Thanks, Sherman for bringing that to our attention.
