Roy Jones to Fight Corrie Sanders November 8th...

Roy Jones Jr. couldn't get the big fights he really wanted, so he turned to Corrie Sanders instead.

Jones will return to the ring Nov. 8 for the first time since winning a piece of the heavyweight title when he takes on Sanders, promoter Murad Muhammad said. The fight will likely be in Las Vegas.

Jones had sought fights against Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis. But he'll end up with Sanders, who made a name for himself earlier this year by stopping Wladimir Klitschko, brother of Vitali Klitshcko, in Germany.

This sucks..Even Holyfield would have been more of a draw.

Sanders will be a decent test i suppose, but, this isn't what i was hoping for at all..

Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis or Byrd, would have been great...

I'm STill AMAZeD ...WHY the Fvck Couldn't Both Parties Agree on the JONES/HOPKINS Fight ? So Much Money to be made and now we have to settle for this shit! I Don't get it... They've gotta be Kickin' themselves that an agreement couln't be reached !

That's Roy. He will always take the safe fight. Does anybody really give him a chance with Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis or Byrd, get real. One punch from any of them would kill Roy.

you guys are nuts.

Byrd, for one, is about dead even with Jones size wise. Holyfield would be interesting at best, imo.
Tyson can barely hit a heavy bag nowadays, much less someone with the head movement, and footwork of Jones, and Lewis, who has the real shot of hurting Jones, seems to be aging rapidly.

Sanders will be a decent match, just not what people want.

Jones would have to run for his life. All it would take is one good shot from any of the four fighters we are talking about and lights out for Roy Boy. Uncle think about it, these guys would be fighting him for a title and would get up for the fight and take it right to Roy , how long before one good punch landed.
