Old Town was fine for me on Memorial Night game. On my trolly ride back to Old Twon parking I sat in my four seats with absolutely no one, and I left right after the game and walked straight to the Blue Line.

I will be finished with poker dealer class this week and better pass an audition this month or I will be pissed. Tipshop hasn's sent any payments in months and have not responded to several emails, so I have stopped posting temporarily until I see what is going on. They even noted that they sent a check out around Feb., but I never received or cashed one.

I know they are not having problems since they seem to be able to buy their radio spots - at least on 710AM - but I'm not sure why my emails are going unresponded.

They don't owe me a lot, so its not worth the trouble, but I'm still just protesting a bit by not posting any handicaps.

The City is closed as of the end of Dec. and it is sad to me, but hopefully my poker dealing will keep me excited. I am looking forward to getting started, as my class ends this Fri.
My book is closed too right now, since a job that I took said I have to shut it down and can't book while working. That may change if I can get some graveyard dealing. I hope to reopen by fb season. I haven't been closed in years.

I went to the SC auction on Tuesday and everything was sold out of the restaurant.

do you mean sportscity cafe and brewery in la jolla ramonscottsports?if so yes! many many times! the only place i hang at besides there is oggi's in del mar at carmel country road. i love microbrew beer and oggi's and sportscity both rock where beers concerned.trophys too but i live in la jolla so i avoid mission valley.come to sportscity...do you own it or did you?

I had a daily shift there for nine years, averaging 345 work days per year. In addition to manager, I was the king of the satellite system, so certainly we've crossed paths. There are some fine forum regulars here and across the street (mw) that were patrons as well.

i know for certain weve met rss! im wondering where ive heard the name ramon scott sports?are you in the north county? your name is really familiar.maybe you and i spoke alot. its been awhile,i mostly hang out downtown now and hit oggi's in del mar from time to time.the clubs in mission valley are played out.when was your shift? you were the manager there?damn,we may be old friends.lol.its cool reading this .

Only at SportsCity, because I never went anywhere. I just hung out by my wall of TVs seven days a week, hosting my buddies, such as Whor and B10 and some of the locals that post on MW. I was pretty much at the restaurant whenever the games were being played. Weekdays 4 p.m.- to close and weekends all day until the last games begin on later.

I had a whole posse of gamblers that I booked and made more than the restaurant pay, but its all gone now because of some guy that took over the lease and couldn't keep it open.

I just went to the auction last Tuesday and everything was sold, including my precious 10 DSS receivers and 5 C/kus. Hiloboy would be cringing hearing something like this.

Now I'm pissed, but with poker dealer school now done, I'm ready for my next career. And maybe I can open my book back up by fb season and deal graveyard.

Here I am at my famous headquarters, which some people dubbed "Loser Loft" hopefully because of the beats I put on people, not because we're a bunch of losers.

Those were the good ole days when you could get anything and everything up on the screen. I was probably in there 3-4 days week before I got married and quite running numbers. Indigo Joe's in Encinitas is not a bad out to watch the football games Sat/Sun these days but it does not compare to the City.

I was the big Red Wing fan, we used to come in there for hockey quite a bit....
