On the eve of the NBA Playoffs, in an effort to assist the forum, thought I would list the results of the regular season games between the teams that are matched up in the first round of the playoffs. Thought having a convenient place to view the results might be helpful. I've included the closing lines and totals as well. It is very important to keep in mind that there were some major injuries and players out of many of these games as some of the spreads reflect. If you can retrieve the box scores, you should note the absences of these key players. Box scores are available at www.espn.com or www.donbest.com and perhaps some other sites as well.

A qualifier is necessary to this update as in a couple of games the lines on the sides and totals moved enough from the opening line to closing line that the result would vary depending on the line obtained. For purposes of this update and any future updates, I will use the closing line from www.donbest.com. With that said.

Through Sunday 4/25/04

Sides: 14 Home Favorites, 4 Home Underdogs, 6 Road Favorites, 4 Road Underdogs
Totals: 14 Games Over, 14 Games Under

Sides/Totals (O/U)

Indiana/Boston: 4-0/3-1
New Jersey/New York: 3-1/3-1
San Antonio/Memphis: 3-1/2-2
L.A./Houston: 2-2/2-2
Detroit/Milwaukee: 2-1/1-2
Sacramento/Dallas: 1-2/1-2
Miami/New Orleans: 1-2/0-3
Minnesota/Denver: 2-1/2-1

Best of luck to everyone.

I lean to Milwaukee as well, just not enough to release it as a rated release. Best of luck to you tonight.

OldManTed,

So far three 2-1 team and won and covered game 4 road games. These team did whatever it took to avoid a 2-2 series. Lakers, Sac, and detroit. All other teams excluded b/c they swept. Any feeling on Mini and Miami doing the same tonight?
