I like tech to win the game as well - but I would stongly consider BC and the points especially if it is around 7 or 8ish.

Think of it this way - what would the point spread be if Tech was playing Pitt instead of BC...

BC could have (dare I say easily), with the help of a bounce or two in their direction down the stretch vs Pitt, won that game.

They were within a few points until the end - when BC was called for a foul on a 3pt shot - where the Pitt dude made all 3 freethrows - but could have easily missed the 3...

I know its speculating about a hypothetical - but in that case tell me by how much would GT be favored over Pitt? 2? 1? 3?

BC can keep it close - may not but can.

Thanks for input truely - keep it up.

Like any of my other picks?

i agree, i really don't think that much of the big east.

tech has both outside and inside, good athletes, and more than one scorer. i would take tech over pitt any day of the week.

watched pitt twice this year against nd, nd should of won both.

i got caught up into pitt last year and they burned me, i see the same again.

pitt and providence both somehow got overrated this year - and cuse having won last year got all the hype that a prior year champ gets.

In reality uconn is possibly a great team - but with okafor ailing we may never know how good

How can you say Providence is overated when they go out and beat Illinois,Uconn,Virginia, BC all on the road.At home they lost to Texas by 1 at the buzzer and beat Syracuse. At least this is a team that went out and played people out of confrence.Besides being in a strong league they also beat Alabama at home and Richmond on the road.

They also lost to virginia tech, BC, pitt by almost 20 and Rhode island.

Yes they played texas hard - then almost lost at rutgers the game after than 6 days later.

They are up and down and can step it up from time to time, but there are better teams out there.

BC isnt that great at home either usually...

I saw the texas buzzer beater game - texas gave that game to Providence but providence didnt take it. Remember they were at home. Shouldnt it have been a little easier if they were actually any good?

and yes they split with BC and Pitt but their losses against those two were in the last 2 games of the season - not a good time to be dropping games.

anyway dont get me wrong, thanks for the input - I'll give it a second look - maybe they arent overrated...

Im getting scared about this potential Duke Texas matchup

can anyone help me?

Duke beat Texas by a bunch early on. Has Texas improved enough to beat Duke now?

I am sorry to say that I dont think Illinois or Zona would be able to...

So that would leave Stanford.

Ugh

I hate to see duke anywhere near the final 8...

seems fishy though

Keep in mind providence's 2nd leading scorer Rob Sanders was out for 3 weeks including the Texas, Rutgers, Virginia Tech losses.

or corned beef

no more input people?

The only one I'm unsure about is Louisville.

Can anyone lend any insights as to why louisville shit the bed over the second half of the season? Early on they were in shape to be at the top I thought.

I know some players got hurt and pitino had some sexually transmitted disease but any other reason?
