Thinking Packers would be at least a 10 point dog to Panthers without Rodgers. I know he’s great but he can’t play defense. I’m a Packers fan and I’m not sure i could take the Pack in this spot. Anyone got a good feel on this game? Probably just lay off this one.

The line should definitely be Carolina -4.5......just like KC should have been -3.5.

Mathews & Gbays coach both stated that Rodgers was ready to play 2 weeks ago, but Hudley could handle Tampa & Browns, so Rodgers is better than most think IMO.

Would love to know where the public money is in this game.

Really close......Carolina should be -4.5 IMO......a lot of hype on Rodgers, but from what over heard, he's been ready for 2 weeks.

I heard a good stat yesterday. I will try and find the exact details on it. Rodgers has returned from injury twice in his career: First time his first game back was like 400 yards and 3 TDs and the second time the first game back was 300 yards and 2 TDs.

But....who did they play and did they even win? And this time he is definitely coming back a little too early. And against a pretty good team

His coach & his teammate Mathews both said he should have been off the IR 2 weeks ago, he was ready to play, that's how good of shape he's in with an extra 2 weeks of rest......at least that's what I gathered from everything I heard & read. Is one man gonna make that much of a difference?

Look at Garapolo & the difference he's made in San Fran......Rodgers will make a difference, but the Panthers defense is tough, so good luck with either side.

He was not eligible to return until this week

He means physically. Not him still on IR last 2 wks.
Point being, he's not JUST been cleared by doctors 15 hours ago, but 15 days ago. But why rush one of the few goats still grazing on NFL field grass

Is that because of the IR designation or because of the injury itself?

I think, and man, I've been wrong before (hence divorced), due to the IR designation, had to sit out mandatory 8 weeks. At least that's what I think I read in the paper.

LOL reminds me of poker on Friday where I said "This is the worst bet of my life" as I called some hand I was probably behind in. Dude sitting across from me starts dying with laughter and says "No way that's true" while reminding me of a 2 dime bet on the Browns MNF several years back (it won btw).. Great moment at poker though hahah.

We agree though, I think the IR designation carries a minimum # of days that can be missed.

Still, a tough game to cap if you ask me. I started Davante Adams over Tyreek hill for my playoff game so hoping DA gets his regardless.

He was cleared by doctors Tuesday of this week. He had to do a CT scan to get final clearance. They did not want to do a CT scan before then because
he was on IR and the radiation slows down the healing process

As a Bears fan, for the only time in my life I'm cheering on the packers today. If they win, I win 2 suicide pools today. They took lina before Rodgers was announced back....these 2 would not chop in either pool when I offered so let's go Pack...lol I took Jacksonville.
