From Dogball : Before I begin, please refrain from comments such as -why would you get involved with anyone you dont personally know over the internet and I am a fool for trusting Rod. I am well aware of these principals and got dupped. I am not looking for sympathy, I just want to deliver the information since I know others who were approached by this Scammer and I know he is e mailing people and just do not want anyone else to get suckered by this prick.
I have known Rod for 1.5 years through the FOrums. Last year we spoke somewhat frequently by E mail and occassionally on the phone. We both went tout around the same time and continued to speak on occassion until last month.
I got several e mails from Rod asking me to call and e mail him around the time my wife gave birth last month, all telling me he wanted to speak about an opportunity for " us ". I finally caught up to him two weeks ago and it turns out the opportunity he wanted to present me with was booking my personal action. I was surprised by this gesture and thought it was pecicular that he was going out of his way to call me on this matter.
I have done business with several people and books through the internet and never once had a problem getting paid. Admittedly I have had a controversy or two in my time but it is irrelevant to htis matter. Bottom line here without boring you with details, the relationship did not last long.
LAst weekend I was 5-0 and won $3000 from him, That monday I won $500 from him. I called him on tuesday to make arrangements for payment and he told me he would be in NY 9-10-2003 and was it ok if he paid me then. Our arrangement was clearly pay or be paid on tuesday and I told him I was uncomfortable with that arrangement and asked for my $. He said ok and that he would Fed x it the next day. Naturally I did not got paid despite being told 4 times it was coming the next day.

Anyway, the " 35" represents the $3500 he owes me.
I am a big boy and fortunatley this inconvenience will not affect my mood or bankroll. As all gentleman, I expected to be paid and am disappointed that a guy I spoke to frequently thought so little of me to go out of his way to immediately screw me. I am pressed for time so need to end this.
Bottom line, if there was any question left by guys from the RR like Sea and panther about ROd, I think they have been answered. I am a firm believer that you get what you give and I know it will come back to Rod in spades. He is a complete fraud and liar, noone should pay for his picks and noone should do business with him in any capacity. The number I have for him now a women answered today and told me he would not be around for 3-4 weeks

Thanks for sharing the story Dog. Though he may have had a difference of opinion with people here (me included at times) I am convinced this is true and Dog's word can be taken on this. In fact I have seen the e-mails involved. Dog was one of Rod's biggest supporters for a while, may have been why he gave him a chance here. Takes balls to admit you got hustled out here in the forums so props for exposing this guy to others. I have sympathy for a lot of people but stiffs are not one of them. This guy took a shot it looks like, probably hoped Dogball would lose. If he wins he isn't paying anyway so there is no risk on his part.

I have to admit those old Don Marco/Altice threads mimicking Rod was some of the funniest threads I have ever read. Still get a smile just thinking about them....

before everyone bows down to the infamous "dog", lets ask him and ken if he has taken care of his latest "problem" from 6 months ago, not. Remember, he lost 10 dimes, cried foul, and i will say he has payed some, but not all, but has still not payed the number. i payed the number, i was scammed, so if indeed dog was scammed, well what comes around goes around. i'm either hearing bullshit or the truth, but ham and uncle know that that dog has done noone here any good other than pick some winners. forget about getting payed if he loses
