Though I am 110% against you with who you are voting for, I am 110% WITH you about the need to vote for alternative parties. It is a shame that we are told who to vote for and if you're not rich and being placed into office by corportate America then you have zero shot at being president. We need to vote for alternative parties whether we think they have a shot at winning or not.

i hate that argument as well. i only vote for people I support, agree with. I dont waste time voting for the guy I hate less. if i dont like anyone, i don't vote. simple as that. I'm a happy Obama backer, but encourage anyone who honestly views either McCain or Obama to be the "lesser of two evils" to most certainly cast your vote for someone else.

We must vote multi-party as it's the only way to ensure the issues are addressed. Once there are millions of votes for someone other than the two party (read, one party) will they be forced to adapt their policies. Until then nothing changes and they continue to convince the unaware that voiting independently is a wasted vote.
That said, I too can not even remotely get behind Baldwin as I don't go for religious fanatics and believe in the seperation between church and state.

Baldwin not only endorses the virtual shutdown of over a quarter-Trillion dollars per year in legal international trade, he also believes the government should have full control of a pregnant woman's body.
And unless I'm mistaken he endorses the absurd notion that the Earth is only 6500 years old and promotes the teaching of religious beliefs in public school science curriculum.
