I have to admit I was skeptical but it turned out to be much better than I thought it would be.

Put together very well and the effects were very good.

The Indian actress who plays in it as James Franco's girlfriend is gorgeous.

Easily one of the best movies of the summer.

What I like about it is that film, during the movie, drops hints and alludes to that it's a prequel to the original Heston film. I like that as it starts to show HOW our planet became the planet of the apes.

Plus these apes CGI looks PHENOMENAL.

Downloaded and watched both this weekend. I prefer The Apes more but both are good....just Apes was very good
