Very sad. Really enjoyed listening to him on the Pac12 CBB games. A life well-lived.

Nooooooooo!

Loved Bill Walton as a man and as a basketball player.

He was the sixth man on what I think was the best basketball team ever assembled - the 1986 Celtics.

71 is way too young these days.

And yea, Bozz, he was a DeadHead. I'm not but I have a brother in law who is big time.

What kind of cancer? Was this public news prior to his death?

A legend, and a Dead Head. Especially when doing CBB games.

Far too young

"The Conference of Champions". I think the PAC 12 folding may have taken his will to fight away

RIP my man, we shall meet again

That's a take I hadn't thought of Willie. He was so proud of the Pac 12, It had to be devastating to him. It sucks for alot of us out here. Thus sgould bever have happened.

RIP 32

Bill Walton at a UCLA anti-war protest in 1972 and getting arrested by LAPD.
