A Vegas casino closed its topless pool after police made several arrests for prostitute-related activity.
As part of a routine operations check, plainclothes policemen visited the Sapphire Pool at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino where they arrested 11 people on charges ranging from soliciting to drug possession and sale, according to the Las Vegas Sun newspaper. As a result, the hotel has decided to suspend topless bathing at the pool, the story said.
The topless pool was a partnership between the casino and dancers at the Sapphire Gentlemen's Club, who made appearances at the pool during the day. It is not clear whether any of the women arrested worked at the club.
