A Vegas casino closed its topless pool after police made several arrests for prostitute-related activity.
As part of a routine operations check, plainclothes policemen visited the Sapphire Pool at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino where they arrested 11 people on charges ranging from soliciting to drug possession and sale, according to the Las Vegas Sun newspaper. As a result, the hotel has decided to suspend topless bathing at the pool, the story said.
The topless pool was a partnership between the casino and dancers at the Sapphire Gentlemen's Club, who made appearances at the pool during the day. It is not clear whether any of the women arrested worked at the club.

Damn Vegas is losing all kinds of money lately and they think of something clever to bring in revenue and it gets shut down. WTF

Damn, and I am going out Sunday. I am staying at the Mirage for a few of the days. Has anyone been to the Bare Pool? Is it worth it? I know it's a rip-off if you want chairs and stuff but we are going to stay in the pool and drink. Can anyone give me a report on that if it is worth it or not? Thanks in advance.

Been there a few Times, Really Not worth it. They charge you $20 during the week, and $40 Fri,Sat & Sun...or something like that.

If you want a DayBed, could cost like $500, Cabanas like $1500

When we go, I get most stuff Comp...But I rather have a Cabana at the Normal Pool. There's Just as Much Ass there. :toast:
