this is about how the sportsbooks are run in vegas 99 percent of them do the same thing take 4 example the ill and az game here is how the conversation goes at lets say the alladin ok the sportsbook manager gets together with his top assistants and asks them what they think the line should be bob says i love az make it ill 3 no no john says i love ill make 7 then the manager steve looks at his two idiots what does don best have oh yea boss we forgot everybody has 5 on the game ok let me think 4 a second hmmm ok make it 5 just a hunch yea boss your right you are a genius the names hane been changed to protect the retards

More importantly, how hard is it for ONE BOOK to gamble and take a side they like and shade up or down 1/2 a point??

1/2 a point is worth only 7 cents. These books basically are admitting they would have trouble winning if they were betting even getting +103!

a freind of mine was downtown looking 4 lines and this is what he told me he was looking 4 a nba total dont remember what day or the game but anyway everybody had 196 on the total then his last stop a small book downtown they had 198 ok he went to the writer and said give me under 198 4 the limit the writer called over the sports book manger said one second and went to the back he came back and told my buddy that the line was wrong it should be 196 ok hummm!!!! latter that afternoon the game got bet up to 198 my friend went back 2 the book asked the writer whats the total ok 196 ok give me over 196 4 the limit manger comes out says he forgot 2 move it its 198 my buddy says wtf i cant bet under 198 or over 196 the manger says if the game would land 197 he would get fired and have 2 move 2 mesquite now go bet a parley card im very busy ordering my dinner
