Some critics of George W Bush on this website often draw comparisons between him and Adolf Hitler. This usually meets with much whining from his ardent Republican supporters here, about how inappropriate and disgusting it is to draw such a comparison.

Today, t3a started a thread where he cleverly altered Hillary Clinton's first name to read "Hitlery".

Shockingly, not ONE single Republican complained about the comparison of Hillary Clinton to Adolf Hitler. Not even one. What gives, Republicans?

If you want hypocrisy you need look no further than the recent dust up over the Miers nomination. The very same republitards that were wailing that the president has a right, nay an obligation to pick someone that fits his ideology(Roberts), are now bemoaning his selection. Where in my thread did I compare her to Hitler? It is just a jab at her first name, just like when people say Dumbya instead of W for Bush. If I had heard a similar name for Condi Rice I would have used that for her

No quote in there about how Bush thinks freedom "ought to be limited" - not quote about Bush joking that it'd be easier if he was dictator. Just pick and choose, imply that someone is a nazi and then in typical fashion - try and spin it back at the board and say its everyone else who doesn't get it.

I like how your first attempt to spin this was to try and make light of a slight spelling change. Now you quote her alongside Hitler.

Bush is many things. He's a puppet, he's a simpleton, he's a phony christian and he's a joke of a leader. HOWEVER, the sins of his grandfather/father do not make him a nazi.

Yes, Limbaugh/Hannity contribute greatly to the discourse. But can you honestly say that your never ending nazi references or CONSTANT diversion to homoxexual acts in so many threads actually contributes to anything but more hate?

Want to call bush gay? There's evidence he is/was. Want to call him a cokehead - there's some background on that too. But for someone who obviously has a serious belief in Israel and punishment for those who oppose the Israeli state - you sure throw around Nazi references at any given chance.

The only thing this 'political' forum contributes is an occasional laugh. I don't think Hillary is a Nazi, as I tried to point out, it was just a jab at her name.

If I ever need to refer to her again I will call her Senator Clinton so that I don't upset the political balance in the country
