Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett is seeking a trade to the Falcons, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Bennett is looking to join former Seahawks defensive coordinator and current Falcons coach Dan Quinn in Atlanta. The defensive end racked up 15 1/2 sacks with the Seahawks over the last two seasons after managing 15 sacks in four years with the Buccaneers.

Bennett has three years remaining on the four-year deal he signed before last season but is also seeking a new contract as part of his potential move to Atlanta.

It is slowly falling apart for the Seahawks. Defenses don't last long in the NFL. They have 4 or 5 players on that defense who probably think they should be the highest paid on the team. Meanwhile, the midget will command more $$ next year and they will pay him like he is a real qb. There can not be joy in Seahawk land. You have a 2 year window. After that, you are better off to tank.

LOL, everyone is signed on D. They haven't lost anyone but Maxwell and signed C. Williams. This is year 4 of a great D so your timeline is a bit off.

Call him a midget all you want, he's still a QB 25 teams would take right now no questions asked.

Talking about guys that played significantly. Those guys rarely got in.

Not too sure about that, but you would know better. I just go with what is printed on the internet

DE O’Brien Schofield, 341 snaps: Schofield signed a one-year deal with Atlanta where former Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is now the head coach worth $1.7 million.

LB Malcolm Smith, 286 snaps: The Super Bowl MVP a year ago signed a two-year deal with Oakland to play for the Raiders and new defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr., his position coach with the Seahawks as well as at USC. It’s worth a reported $3.75 million.

NFL offenses run an average of around 65 plays per game. So, that means Schofield was on the field an average of 21 snaps per game or less than 1/3 of of all Seattle's defensive plays with Smith on the field much less.

That means nothing in the NFL. You can be cut at anytime.

I'd rather have Matt Ryan than Russell Wilson so there is one team......That said, I'd rather have Russell Wilson instead of Kaepernick.

Not even close to a factual statement.

Yes it does. You said "all the guys are signed on d"...I said " that means nothing in the NFL"

Trent Richardson was signed too. Guys are cut every year.

No, you said, it's slowly falling apart and defenses don't last long in the NFL. I'm telling you they are all signed so nothing is falling apart.
